I apologize in advance if this build has been done... but I'm new to the site and am looking for advice so I can get serious with Type II. Been playing for years casually so this is my first crack at a competitive deck. Here I've designed a deck based around a concept of W/U mid-range that I saw a few months ago when RTR went live. It centers around a Tribal theme of Humans with bare bones spell support. Strategy seems pretty straight forward as your playing cards around tempo. The big hitter in this deck comes from a powered up Champion of the Parish, which pairs nicely with one of the Silverblade Paladin. The Nephalia Smuggler allows you to flicker Snapcaster Mage for when you need depleted spells, a Banisher Priest /Fiend Hunter when you have a new threatening creature opposing you, Lyev Skyknight to continue locking down enemy blockers, the Riders of Gavony for choosing new types and finally simply to flicker and add more +1/+1 counters to your Champions. As for the Azorius Charms, I attempted to save them for combat situations and not having to rely on them for card draw. Mass Appeal should be saved for when you have at least two creatures out, or else you minus well be playing Divination. In testing against some other more aggressive decks I built from forum boards, this deck seemed to fair well as long as it wasn't screwed from a poor land flooded/lacking hand. Appreciate you guys looking this deck over and giving your constructive advice.
