Right now, I'm considering dropping Dimir Guildmage. I love the card, but every time I see it in my hand it's always the last card I choose to cast. Reality Spasm is likely going to go as well. That'll open up room for 2 mana producing cards. Also, thoughts on Palladium Myr, would I be better off with Thran or Powerstone to avoid removal.

Using Grand Architect + Pili-Pala for infinite mana, you could mill your opponent to death with Dimir Guildmage.

I was not aware of that card, thanks! 1/1 flier on top of it and easy on the budget.

Have you considered Sword of Body and Mind it's always fun to equip to lazav.

HydraOoze: I have looked at that. Up until a couple months ago I was keeping this deck on a budget, not spending more than $5 on a card unless I pulled one on a whim-booster purchase. But then I built out my lands so I threw that strat out the window. Currently working on a couple other decks and will eventually get back to altering this one which is my main EDH deck. I'll throw that into my maybe list since it's not too expensive. I used to incorporate more evasion into this deck, if they were still in it would be an auto-include. Have to make room for Disallow come Aether Revolt's release :D

I like it, +1 from me, but I believe you are mistaken about how Nightveil Specter's ability works. You are unable to cast the cards exiled with him after he leaves the field. Still a great card though, I have a Grixis EDH deck that is trying to do something very similar to yours. Love the Dune quote as well.

RedGriffin42: Ah, you're right. Where did I get the idea that it could? Anyways, thanks for pointing out the mistake and thanks for the upvote!

Love this deck, so many interesting mechanics to it. Fantastic job!

You should probably play more lands, especially if you're always mana starved...
You probably need about 37 lands, maybe more because you have a lot of cards with steep mana costs.
