Can you arrange this as a deck instead of a maybeboard? It's really hard to sort through these, visually.

I would say RG beat down looks pretty dang promising. Some spot removal damage spells, decent ramp, good creatures in both colors. I was tempted to say izzet because of the two Spellheart Chimera s but don't see the synergy among the broader card base. UW control might work too.

running RG through the tester as a 42 card deck with 18 lands is actually working out better than I thought it might

also considering Naya, although the tricks like Battlewise Valor and Dauntless Onslaught might almost be overkill with the size of my big-bads

get another pack to add to this pool after this first week (two if I start out in the bottom third), hopefully I can pull a Xenagos, The Reveler lol or even perhaps Arbor Colossus out of there

I personally would run a Black Green monstrosity build. I copied the deck to edit since I do better building when I can make edits and see how it shapes up. bg-sealed if you want to see how I built it.

What direction did you decide to go and how did it work out?

I've been playing both G/R and G/B, switching out depending who I played. 3-3 so far :/ Added another pack to the pool, rare was another Ember Swallower which wasn't what I was hoping for honestly. Although I was able to add a Nylea's Disciple to the mix!

I get another pack on Friday so I'll update this list then!

I put together a G/W ramp that I think might work: Pool Sealed G/W Heroic Ramp

I really like Phalanx Leader and your white instants (especially Dauntless Onslaught for triggering heroic). Coupled with 2x Setessan Battle Priest , 2x Yoked Ox , Hopeful Eidolon , Sedge Scorpion , Divine Verdict , Gods Willing and Last Breath you should have decent protection while you ramp into your big beat sticks: Centaur Battlemaster , Nessian Asp , Polukranos, World Eater and 2x Vulpine Goliath .

could be an option! I think I might have gotten a Battlewise Valor in my pack too.. I get another pack added in tomorrow so we'll see what I get to add in and go from there.

I also remember getting a Nimbus Naiad in that pack which got my interest, especially with Battlemaster...
