Legends of the Deep offers a tidal wave of control and destruction. You will want to get Quest for Ula's Temple and Sigiled Starfish out as soon as you can. Sigiled Starfish can scry to help you reveal creature cards faster and is ideal to use on your opponents turn in case you need to block as well as to use it before you draw. Clockspinning can also help you get counters on Ula's Temple faster as well as counter decks that use counters to power up cards. Once you have 3 counters you will be all set up to start releasing big creatures like Deep-Sea Kraken and Inkwell Leviathan. This is also a life gain deck. Elixir of Immortality and Kraken's Eye will frustrate your opponent as Elixirs' second ability is to shuffle it, your library and your graveyard together. Kraken's Eye can be taken advantage of if you have enough mana by means of Clockspinnings buyback. If you have several Eye's on the field you can easily gain more life then your opponent can chip down. One final card to make note of is Mind Control. This can turn the tide of battle very quickly. If your opponent has a creature on the field that makes building a strategy difficult, why not make it yours? The best part with all the strategies of this deck is they can be recycled over and over so long as you have Elixir of Immortality either in your library or in play, and there are 4 of them making it a challenge for your opponent to get rid of your strategies. All in all if played right the deck is fun and powerful to use and a pain to deal with.

So I don't know if it was just because of Friday the 13th or too many people but I wasn't feeling good and the tournament went way too long and the deck wasn't playing very well. I don't think this was because of the build as I did get a win but the other two were loses (because I decided not to take a draw) and the 4th was a draw. I just wanted to go home lol. This will be the last time I play this deck for awhile. I did add 3 Shipbreaker Krakens and took out:

Tromokratis Bident of Thassa Stormtide Leviathan

I wasn't seeing them at all hardly during most of my games and after the change I was seeing the shipbreakers so I guess it was a good trade out.
