Unlike a regular EDH-game however, Leovold prefers to be in control. You may think you are in charge, but the truth may be... different.

Leovold loves to control the pace of the game, to wheel and to deal. A politician at heart.

The Cards in the deck

The cards in this deck are ones I own, they may not be optimal, but they do their job. I do not mind suggestions for improvements, also, when suggesting, please give some deeper explanation of why what goes in and out.

EDH games typically last longer than other games of MtG, both because of the multiplayer aspect and because a big, singleton deck leads to high variance. For this reason the management of resources is crucial... and in a game of magic we have two primary resources: cards & mana.

I want to never lack on those resources. For this reason I included ramp cards like Burgeoning and Kodama's Reach, and added card draw effects. Luckily for me Leovold allows for some guaranteed card draw when he hits the table, and the wheel-effects in the deck allow for both card draw for me and disruption of resources of the opponent.

I included different cards I consider wincons and their way of handling things are different, I think this is an advantage, as you never know how a game of magic will roll.

Cards I do consider Wincons are:

Consuming Aberration/Sphinx's Tutelage for mill.

The Gitrog Monster and Sire of Stagnation make certain we draw even more cards. I've also added the card Splendid Reclamation to offset the landloss caused by the Toad.

Villainous Wealth and Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni allow me to beat the opponent with their own cards.

Finally Psychosis Crawler can turn the loads of draw effects in the deck into a machinegun.
