I would consider taking the Stormbreath Dragon out for Desecration Demon or Rakdos, Lord of Riots

My reasoning is Des Demons are a 4 drop for 6/6, and make them either clear a blocker or take 6 in the air. same with lord of riots, + it has trample.

Consider trading out the Ash Zealot for Gore-House Chainwalker because it plays with exava better, and only costs one red as opposed to 2. I for one have trouble getting zealots out early, but i run a black heavy rakdos.

see if you can find a way to get some Magma Jet in there, scry is going to be important for staying a step ahead of your opponent

The Reason I rather keep Stormbreath Dragon over those two is Desecration Demon is way to slow this deck is meant to be faster & if they generate alot of creature such as a token deck then they could keep sacing them. I did have Rakdos, Lord of Riots in here once but he was too mana heavy & require me to deal some sort of damage also he did not have anyway to get haste so when a opponents turn comes up he could be destroy by the time my turn comes back.

I usually don't have a problem dropping Ash Zealot because I am more red heavy plus she can block & has first strike & has haste already build in without the need of exava.

I would love to put Magma Jet in here but I am going more for power than for scry. Shock does exactly the same amount of damage for one less mana & Lightning Strike deals 3 damage as compare to 2. Its more of a preference really.

What's the point of Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch in here if she really only affects 8 other creatures? I would put some Hammer of Purphoros in there instead to give all your dudes haste.

@ MTdude Her being a first strike haste creature alone is the reason why she is here her haste is to the others is only a added bonus with Hellrider rotating which was my other 4 drop she will have to fill the gap plus I rather have a creature than a enchantment in a deck aggro deck like this.

Rakdos's Return ?

I did have Rakdos's Return in here once but its more of a midrange card rather than a aggro card it would be better in something like Jund or Rakdos Midrange

Purphoros isn't quite as fitting in this deck as you might think. As an enchantment, Purphoros is actually very slow and clunky and, in a multicolor deck, your devotion base for red is (at all times) easy to destroy. You're probably better off turning him into a Chandra's Phoenix as it's a reliably fast creature that always stays a creature.

@ Ashnard you may be right about that it is a 4 drop & by the time I play it i will have very few creature cards left in my hand It could still pump my creatures I could put in Chandra's Phoenix but I could just put in some draw power instead to give more fuel to my deck like Read the Bones but I will consider it.

You have 8 burn spells. You have enough firepower to recur the Phoenixes should you need to. Incidentally, speaking of burn power, those Shocks should probably be Magma Jet s. It may not seem like the 1 extra mana isn't worth it for the scry 2, but it really is.

I decide to add 2 more mana to the deck to make getting mana screwed less likely to happen oh & I re-add Rakdos, Lord of Riots since I had a copy & I really wanted to use it rather than let it rot in my binder.

What you need is Toil / Trouble .

Its a insanely power double card. Red side works wonders vs Control. Black side can damage them even further, or can be use as a Sign in Blood for you.

In early game, Trouble can do something like 5 damage, specially in this new slow Theros envioment.

In a lategame scenario, if you can cast them both at the same time, they are dead (6 or more damage coming out of nowhere = <2 ).

Have you thought of putting in Whip of Erebos ? it's great for longer games or for when your opponent manages to counter your early-game aggro.

Normally i only put in 1 because of the legend rule turning any more you would draw into something you can't use unless the first gets countered/destroyed. But that's up to you.

I would also recommend using Gray Merchant of Asphodel due to the high amount of devotion to black in your deck.

Titan's Strength

I think a 2 and 2 split between Doom Blade and Ultimate Price would be better so you're not completely screwed against any mono-black or rakdos mirror. Other than that looks good. +1.
