the maybeboard it just full of cards that are either too expensive, and it's just a vain hope that i'll get them, or I'm not sure whether to run in this deck.

Thanks for the post over on my R/G Deck. Honestly, the only suggestions I can toss out would be to scale back the Landfall creatures a little bit. Maybe run a few Sylvan Advocate or Dragonmaster Outcast as replacement for Valakut Predator.

Without increasing the budget would be the only other way I can immediately think of for improvements. Fetch lands like Wooded Foothills would speed up mana acceleration by letting you use the mana you're fetching immediately, rather than the Evolving Wilds.

But, since the Khans fetches are rotating out of Standard in April, unless you are planning on using them for eternal formats, it wouldn't be as helpful.

I did think about Wooded Foothills, but as you said, they cost a lot and will be rotating out too soon. I've thought about Dragonmaster Outcast, I just need to get some copies. I have been considering this: -4x Scythe Leopard +4 Hardened Scales, -2x Mina and Denn, Wildborn +2x Swell of Growth -2 Valakut Predator +2 Sword of the Animist. The reason I'm considering this is because of this play. Turn 1: Forest, Hardened Scales. Turn 2: Forest, Sword of Animist. Turn 3: Mountain, Undergrowth Champion Turn 4: Mountain, triggering landfall, put two +1/+1 counters on undergrowth, equip him, giving him +1/+1, with the landfall trigger from my sword, put another two +1/+1 counters on him, swell of growth him with your two leftover mana, playing another Forest from your hand, and now he's an 9/9 indestructible, swinging on turn 4. Pretty scary

Indeed, Undergrowth Champion can become pretty beastly. Hardened Scales is also unfortunately rotating out in April though.

Yeah, that's why I decided not to go that path

Considering you now only have 1 red mana creature card you might want to swap out some mountains for some forests to use Nissa's Pilgrimage to it's full potential

Yup, you're definitely right. I originally had Makindi Sliderunner instead of Moldgraf Scavenger, so I needed the mountains. I'm still having troubles with the two-drops and one drops, any suggestions?

Exactly what I was thinking! I'm going to pick up a few trackers this friday, hopefully.Unfortunately, due to the rise in strength and popularity of R/G ramp after this pro tour, I will not be able to get my hands on any jaddi offshoot. Also, I just placed this order on tcg, so it kind of sucks, I was on edge about scythe leopard vs jaddi offshoot, should have gone with offshoot

Honestly, I would take away some of the burn and put in more land fetch like Nissa's Renewal

Tbh, I considered that, but usually when I play Nissa's Renewal, I'm all tapped out so the tapped landfalls won't activate my Embodiment of Insight. I'm thinking maybe adding in some Animist's Awakening, since I have no trouble with spell mastery and it's a great finisher with an advocate and an embodiment on the board

You might want to consider putting in Grove Rumbler. I am not sure what you would want to take out for him, but I found he can pack a nasty punch and it was quite easy to pump him into something like a 9/9 with trample, which is just nuts. Some Ulvenwald Hydra's might be nice in this deck too.

What do you suggest to take out for side boarding
