Also, if you want more creatures for defense and you want Mystic Retrieval s effect, Archaeomancer does the same thing but it also will count as a blocker.

Ahh yes, i like the idea of putting planeswalkers but the problem is that once i throw them out, i can only use the ability once or twice before they die because i don't have many creatures to block attacking creatures targeting planeswalkers. I like Render Silent , but i'm still playtesting it in my sideboard for now before i feel like it takes a space in mainboard.

Archaeomancer isn't as strong as Mystic Retrieval as it cannot flashback but i may consider replacing Mystic Retrieval for it for playtesting

I would switch Think Twice for Divination

Hmm, I'm thinking either that or Glimpse the Future

A singleton Divination sometimes isn't too bad sometimes, but the instant speed and flashback of Think Twice more than makes up for the fact you have to do it twice to draw as many cards

I would probably switch it out after Think Twice rotates out though, right now i prefer Think Twice

My american deck is midrange and relies on Burning to finish them off,I personally prefre Render Silent over Counterflux both great cards but i like canceling the first card so my oponent can play anything else, and then before my upkeep i throw out Aurelia's Fury for one so my opponent can't cast non creature spells during my turn.

I use Boros Reckoner and Fiend Hunter so i can have field advantage as well, Obviously B. Reck so i can take out creatures and ping the damage at my opponent, because fiend hunter normally takes out other creatures

I also found a way to deal OBSCENE amounts of damage and wipe the field Blasphemous Act Sure its going out soon but having a Reckoner on the field and playing that. You're opponent is taking heavy damage and has no field

I like the idea of a midrange america deck, i'm considering possibly making one after post rotation, but Blasphemous Act rotates out which is the main reason i don't really like to. I prefer to play control as it makes my friends angry and it is funny :D
