Whew! One more final and I'm free. I can almost taste it! I can't wait to have spare time again.

Best of luck on your finals!! If you're already done congrats!! Haha. :p I like Remand here. It seriously screws tempo decks, which is a major part of modern (from my understanding based on the players in my area). It also is annoying to other players...which amuses me.

If this deck is as aggro-y as Delver, Spell Pierce does Mana Leak's job. Is that the case here?

I think we should run Abrupt Decay

are we still considering Zur the Enchanter if so Near-Death Experience with our play style could be a surprise win.

Hmm, that sounds fun.

Except that Zur the Enchanter can't get Near-Death Experience... He only gets things with CMC 3 or less.

So the list as-is has been up almost a week. Has anyone had time to do any playing around with it? I personally think we could easily go up to 3 Remand here.

TheGamer says... #15

Yes, take out 2 Mana Leak for two Remand. Also out of curiosity, why no fetches?

With our low land count thinning our deck of lands at a curve of four isn't great

Hows this look, TheGamer?

It looks good, but i have a few suggestions.

Treasure Cruise. I probably wasnt here when we decided to cut it, but why are we not running it? It fuels the deck and in here Cruise will usaully be an Ancestral Recall.

If we arent going to run cruise and this is considered non budget, why not have Dark Confidant? Losing life is good in this deck, its a crearure, and draws cards. I feel like it will be a great inclusion, as long as Delver still flips consistently.

More fetches, maybe. If we decide to run cruise, definitly more fetches. But the more life we take the better, and i feel six is just too low anyway.

Good thoughts. Lets see what the others think before making any changes.

What about Confidant and Cruise? Just imagine taking 8 off flipping Cruise with Confidant. That would be hilarious.

Although very dangerous without Phyrexian Unlife in play.

What if we do a B/U Confidant's Cruise Control deck, with Delver and Shadow.

Treasure Cruise and Dark Confidant is a little risky, i dont think playing both is that good, but it will make Death's Shadow huge.

-Fulcrum says... #25

I didn't actually mean it as a serious suggestion, just a funny little idea. For one thing, Confidant would make too many creatures and Delver would be too inconsistent.
