I just barely missed Innistrad. I was playing at the time it was in Standard, but I wasn't playing competitively. I probably would have played a Junk Rites deck.

I started at Gatecrash...but of course we didn't know anything about standard at the time...it was just buy cards, build decks. Straight up casual. Then I got hooked on this site and grew much more competitive. :)

I do think he was better in the RTR-THS standard than he is in the current THS-KTK, but FRF will bring a whole new aspect to everything so he may rise up once again.

Oh...I do love me some Grixis. Haha. One of my EDH decks is Marchesa, the Black Rose. Love her.

Story of my life. I started just after Theros, and bought the deck with Shipbreaker Kraken and thought it was the best thing ever. Then I found my one true love, THIS SITE.

School work has never happened since.

We could build a Grixis Death's Shadow deck! :D with like a shit ton of phyrexian cost crap and red for Assault Strobe! I'd much prefer green for goyf though... D;

Goyf is gross. I think we should make a deck less than $50...all buy it, and then PWN our friends with awesomeness.

One downside of being a more competitive player is I have no clue how to make a budget deck anymore. I designed Soul Sisters and it turned out over $700.

I'm cool with Death's Shadow builds...but I vote we splash white for Phyrexian Unlife

If we play Death's Shadow without Phyrexian Unlife, we'll lose to a Bolt every time.
