Me, I wasn't signed in...but I was. Haha. It's something my account has been doing lately. When I sign in it is weird...it's like "Well this is awkward, you appear to already be signed in." Or something like that. Haha

Can someone sum up everything we've decided and what we're still deciding so I don't have to read through 80 comments?

We decided on B/U/x, most likely with a splash of both G and W, depending on which archetype we end up making.

The choices for that are in the description.

We also decided not to impose a budget, though we could for the next challenge if we decide to do this again :D

TL;DR I cant dumb it down more than that.

I really want to build the Delver Shadow deck.

I just found Bond of Agony and so that means that we ARE play the Shadow Delver...

I was really thinking about that...but without a ramp package...not sure if we could ever cast it for more than 5-6 mana...meaning we would only ever do 4-5 damage...just seems iffy. Even with the synergy with Death's Shadow...

Also...were damn near 200 comments in and we haven't picked an archetype or finalized the color scheme yet...haha. we got shizz to do guys. :)

I would read that again... 5 mana for 4 damage and -4 life is real bad. "X" is not the life you pay, it's mana.

No. Because the amount of life you pay is an additional cost equal to X, not X is equal to the amount of life you pay. Subtle difference...but it's there. Otherwise, turn 2 wins with Rakdos decks would be insanely easy. Be on the play, turn 1, Lightning Bolt, turn 2, Bond of Agony for 17...gg. haha. I've checked the ruling...I wanted this so badly for Rakdos...but it isn't a thing. :(
