The idea is to empty your hand and let Ensnaring Bridge work its magic.

Pyromancer's Swath turns Flame Jab and your lands into sorcery speed Lightning Bolts and lets your Bolts and Helixs kill fatties like Tasigur, the Golden Fang, Siege Rhino, Tarmogoyf and Deceiver Exarch. It also makes it so once your top decking, nothing is a dead draw, ever. Isochron Scepter lets you clean out your hand a little quicker and lets you essentially have cards available while also having an empty hand. It also soaks ups their Abrupt Decays so that Ensnaring Bridge can stick.
