You could drop a couple lands and add support cards. There are so many that are good with Mayael, and they all vary in price

It depends on your budget and how you want to play. I have some of the better ones in my list Mayael the Chubby Chaser. But of course I have my own ideas. Others on the site have great lists that utilize different support cards.
Off the top of my head
Sensei's Divining Top and Sylvan Library might be useful to you if you like abusing Lurking Predators or there is another deck on here I think it's MindAblaze!'s that makes good use of Wild Pair . Or something like Greater Good for repeatable card draw might be what you're looking for. Again it also depends on your budget.

yeah haha I would say I am on a budget when you talk about the Sylvan Library or the top. but yeah I Probably should drop a few lands and run some more support cards.

One nice card to put in is always the Seedborn Muse so you can untap and activate her on your turn. I'd drop a land card for Temple of the False God seeing that is boost for two coloress mana is hot! Another option would be to take out Bow of Nylea and look at putting in Akroma's Memorial

@charliedastrike- I agree if I had one I would definitly put it in here but sadly i am reduced to only budget within reason. but thank you. and yea i agree I do need a Temple of the False God. I'll pick one up tomorow. I kept Bow of Nylea in the deck mainly because Trample+Deathtouch is amazing togeather. +the refilling the deck works well to keep Mayel going for later games. Akroma's Memorial would be a good addition I'll see if I can trade for one.

Honestly? I think Akroma, Angel of Wrath should replace Akroma, Angel of Fury. I mean, You have a ton of other really powerful cards. Why not go all the way with it?

@COOZCOOZCOOZ- Yeah thats a good point. things like Avacyn are also really worth it but again pricewise. thanks for the suggestion tho!

you have a foil Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre and a Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and you're worried about price? LOL you're joking.

@COOZCOOZCOOZ the Ulamog is from the vault, and I got both it and Kozilek when they were both cheap many years ago haha. I've been playing quite awhile.

Have you looked into Rings of Brighthearth and Amulet of Vigor?
April 25, 2015 9:14 p.m.
FaustHarbinger says... #16
@Karns_Pyromancer- Rings are expensive and hard to come by for me. and other than for the lands I don't see the need for the Amulet. a tapped land isn't so crucial in commander games I have been in.

I figured that would be the case, but I like to assume people have a more competitive meta than mine. I'm a little curious why Ruric Thar is in here.
April 25, 2015 9:24 p.m.
FaustHarbinger says... #18
@Karns_Pyromancer- No joke he simply Wrecks. not to mention buts a huge target on his head. the deck has soo many creatures that I rarely hit myself with his effect. and I've hit some people for 12+ in a single game with the effect alone.

COOZCOOZCOOZ says... #19
Ruric Thar is in here because he limits a lot of decks that are not creature heavy. Its actually very solid board control, and pretty much will shut down any combo player until he is gone. I have him in my Mayael deck, Mayaelling at You and he helps SO much. He can wreck face and make sure you have a dominant board.

Karns_Pyromancer says... #20
My worry in this build is that it's not quite creature heavy. Not that that's a bad thing, just statistics. Is Inferno Titan useful here? And are you considering running Purphoros, God of the Forge?
April 25, 2015 11:24 p.m.
FaustHarbinger says... #21
@Karns_Pyromancer- As long as Mayael the Anima is on the field I'm perfectly fine activating her ability and advancing my board out with Ruric out. Inferno Titan works pretty well. he enters and sweeps out the smaller utility creatures my opponents have on the field and as a 6/6 works well enough to deal with most big things also.
April 25, 2015 11:27 p.m.
FaustHarbinger says... #22
I dont like Purphoros in this build because I don't feel like 2 is necessarily worth it for what I drop but I might be wrong. I usually spend turn 4 ramping .

SaveTheEmpire says... #23
I love Purphoros in my Mayael deck, but then again, I run all of the six Gods that can fit in these colors mostly for fun and flavor... and while he can be a turn 4 drop, I, like you, tend to still be ramping at that point, and like to hold off on him a bit- but I do love dropping him later in the game right before I know I'm about to Primal Surge or Gen Wave... 9 times out of 10, when I do so, I take everyone out from the damage from Purphoros' trigger before I even enter combat, and if Gisela is out, then in half the time, and what's really sick is if I have Warstorm Surge out as well...

@SaveTheEmpire- you make a good point. I might work work it in if I can nab another. thanks for commenting man!

If you were willing to splurge for Gisela, Blade of Goldnight , I think she'd fit well in this deck. Artisan of Kozilek couldn't hurt either, nor could any number of fatty angels. Also, you need to rijigger your mana base: you need more green mana sources. Mayael's Aria would probably combo well in this deck.
