Before my description of this deck I would like to thank [ bobthefunny ] for the idea of building this deck. This list originated from his own.

So, since the spoiling of The Gitrog Monster I've been contemplating on building a list around him. As many know I am a hardcore edh player. The GitRog is a different way to play these colors but still combo as I enjoy. Bob's list is remarkable but with me being a cEDH player, I needed to tweak his list to my liking by lowering the Mana curve and making it more combo.

His list does not run hermit druid, but I do for in my meta there is a lot of counter magic; so just having GitRog as the wincon isn't enough. You always need a secondary. So far with this decision one dredge can lead me into my combo with GitRog.

A select few cards were taken out and replaced with other dredge cards that give a bit of value like Necroplasm. In cEDH Necroplasm does so much work and coming back to do it again is lovely.

Other cards such as Buried Alive and Reanimate have also been added to the list. These have been added again to speed up the combo an just in case we don't hit our dread return off our dredge to return Necrotic Ooze.
