This deck is really great. Have you thought about mainboarding Ranger's Guile ? or some removal. It adds another dimension to the deck, gives some defense, and truthfully, Leafcrown Dryad doesn't make sense to me. Maybe he is alright but I would move for some extra defense. still getting a +1 anyway

Thanks daltonnelson! Ranger's Guile is in the board, have considered bringing it main but it's so good offensively and drawing into it after untapping an attacking Pain Seer is fun.
The dryad is there because she's a creature but also triggers Heroic when cast for her Bestow cost. I want as many ways to trigger Agent of the Fates as possible!

aha, makes sense speaking of Agent of the Fates , I have a deck based around this bad mofo. Should you ever be inspired to use him in different ways, check out my deck La Muerte Negro- Unbeaten at FNM. Sorry to promote on your comments. I am that guy. But, based on this deck, you are a good stratergizer and I would like your input if you ever want to check out the deck. Maybe it could give you some insight or you could give me some. Stay golden MinscAndBoo

You could also use Mortal's Resolve to help with with kill spells possibly. (for sideboard)

It also can help kill things that may have deathtouch or an even amount of power/toughness when blocking or attacking.

Wait, it says at the beginning of each combat, so lets say they tap Demon when you want to swing with it, untap it, but you can't attack again because attack phase already happened?

@Domonator777
You can cast instants at the Beginning of Combat Steps (before declaring the attackers), and after the trigger happened
507.Beginning of Combat Step
507.1. First, if the game being played is a multiplayer game in which the active player's opponent's don't all automatically become defending players, the active player chooses one of his or her opponents. That player becomes the defending player. This turn-based action doesn't use the stack. (See rule 506.2.)
507.2. Second, any abilities that trigger at the beginning of combat go on the stack. (See rule 603, "Handling Triggered Abilities.")
507.3. Third, the active player gets priority. Players may cast spells and activate abilities.

So far I can make the majority of this deck. I will probably replace Nighthowler and Pain Seer with 4 Herald of Torment , use the extra space for 1 more Necrobite , and add 1 more Swamp .

I think Springleaf Drum would be good in this deck to tap your king macor or pain seer
April 29, 2014 5:51 p.m.
Yeah, drum would be good with inspired mechanic. Though, it doesn't look like there's enough to make the drum sweet enough. I do suggest Deathrite Shaman against control. Making them eat their spells is what you can use too, being golgari. I dig the deck, looks pretty rad!

After playing this mana is alright but I dislike Agent of the Fates I would make them atleast 2 and maybe something else

I definitely agree, personally I would remove the agents, either for deathrite or possibly mystics in order to get that crucial mana for a demon. Personally I vote for deathrite because you have no Turn 1 option. If you'd like, check out my b/g deck affliction+1

Ahh, Deathrite is bomb but alas I have none...maybe at some point! Being able to reuse him with all the untap tricks twice in a turn seems good...

Also I love Agent of the Fates, it's just too fun to attack with him, Savage Surge , trigger sac and he's a 5/4.

I do understand Agent's appeal, but he would feel better in a Heroic-focused human deck, not necessarily a combat-trick Untap deck. (In my opinion)

The problem still remains that you have no Turn 1 option. That's my only thought. Because turn 2, caryatid = turn 3 Des, but with no turn 1, you're basically starting out at a disadvantage. Maybe even duress (budget Thoughtseize) in order to see what your opponent's deck is going to do and to make them lose an answer to des. Definitely a worthy consideration.

..at that point I'll have to replace Giant Growth with Savage Surge >:)
