It's a really nice card and could be a nice addition, but it's a bit too situational in my opinion and my local meta is really aggro-centered :/
If my meta changes to become more MidRange, I think I could throw it in ! A nice surprise blow !

What about Young Pyromancer? You could champion the tokens.

@beckhr : The purpose of using the Champion ability is mainly to proc the Flamekin Harbinger ability more than once. Or other Elementals with great ETB abilities like Shriekmaw, Tornado Elemental or Timbermare.

I think at least cutting the Vexing Shushers in the sideboard for Cavern of Souls would be optimal.

You could put Assault Strobe as an alternative for Fling in this deck. I know it's a sorcery and you have to hit your enemy directly but i think it's a good alternative becuse it costs 1less and you need the mana what is leftover to protect your elementals.

@jandrobard : Yes, actually I should play at least 2 of them in MB, but they're quite expensive :P
@Walos : Oh ! Great idea ! On a non flying meta this could be epic :D

but it's a very strong deck. In the best case you can win in the 4th turn! I like it

Thank you ! :D
I'm glad you appreciate it :3
Oh and I knew there was another reason I wasn't playing Cavern of Souls ! It can't cast Birds of Paradise turn one x)
January 9, 2015 10:28 a.m.
My bad... it can x)
It just can't protect my elementals afterwards.
I need to play another one. I'm really considering them now... expensive, but it could let me put the Vines out... and leave empty slots for better utilities :)

@PoSe1d0n: Sometimes it happens, look, Goblins piss me off and I don't even know why either x)

Unfortunately one of your combos, your favorite apparently, might not quite work the way you think. If you put a creature into play with incandescent soulstoke, and then champion that creature with a new elemental, at the end of turn, no elementals will be sacrificed. The Soulstokes ability only effects the creature it puts into play, not the new champion creature. So basically it kind of works better, just not the way you described it above. Also, if you were looking for a great way to work with the 'Champion' creature ability, try running a Sundial of the Infinite. You can then cast a champion creature, but when it enters the battlefield and its "Champion a creature or sacrifice this card| ability goes on the stack, you can activate the sundial of the infinite and exile that ability from the stack, leaving your champion creature in play even though it did not champion anyone.

I think that you misread my combo description ;)
It's written:
: Tap => 2 <= Incandescent Soulstoke
Of course, if your Elemental with "Champion" isn't put in play with the Soulstoke, it's not sacrificed at end of turn and I have to wait until the "Champion" dies :)
I'm actually playtesting Sundial of the Infinite and it's doing well :)

My friend built a similar deck a while ago, his ran Simian Spirit Guide and Gitaxian Probe, it was quite a lot smoother.

My previous version ran a Simian Spirit Guide and don't even know why I cut it out xDI'll switch it with Smokebraider
Thank you for suggesting Gitaxian Probe ! I didn't know about it but it could fit perfectly in !

I'm not sure if you would need it, but Kessig Wolf Run might be nice. +1 for the elementals! :)
January 23, 2015 12:30 a.m.
I actually considered it at first but it can't cast the Birds on turn one, so it can slow down my deck :/
Thank you for the upvote <3

Not sure if I should go for a 3rd Spellskite MB and 3 Greaves SB...

A card that can do the trick of Birds is Desperate Ritual, is cheapper and you can also put the Soulstoke on turn 2. +1, I also have a similar deck to this and this is a fenomenal strategy.

@luisserpa: Thanks for the upvote and your comment ! ;)
Desperate Ritual is indeed a neat surprise mana burst but I'd rather go with Simian Spirit Guide which is not mana-dependent and does the same thing. I'll put them in SB just to piss-off RDW users who always want to burn my Birds.

There are quite a few Elementals (some of them Lords) in your colours that make use of the Graveyard (both sending there and returning from; easy to find on Gatherer if that strikes your fancy), foremost among them Vengevine. Great card that absolutely could see play here, I think.
