@jj4622 - I agree with you, my deck building spreadsheet now has Spoils of Evil cut over Rain of Filth, and Thermo-Alchemist cut for Fury Storm. I’m likely going to overhaul the primer soon to more closely resemble my sek’kuar primer Lord of the Flies: Sek'Kuar Lands Primer. Thanks for all of your help and interest!
@chewydownlow - I like where your head is at! I think there is totally a version of this storm build that plays more like a cross between modern KCI and the old Eggs deck - playing Second Sunrise, Faith's Reward, Krark-Clan Ironworks, and Scrap Trawler, ditching the regular cantrips and loading up on more cantrip artifacts. That deck 100% wants the Basalt Monolith combo plus Rings of Brighthearth. At that point we are just playing Burnt Offering and Sacrifice to combo with Faith's Reward effects.
But I think for a more spell based storm deck like this build we really don’t need infinite mana so much as have most of our spells generate net positive mana. But I totally feel like that deck would be awesome!

So, I know this deck hasn't seen a ton of attention as of late, but I see that you're still updating it which is awesome! Have you looked at any of the new Strixhaven cards? some of them are insane, and most notably: Professor Onyx . Liliana of the Yale is an absolute BOMB in this deck. She does 2 damage any time you cast or copy and instant or sorcery to EVERYONE at the table, as well as gaining you two life. She makes Licia, Sanguine Tribune easier to cast, she dodges most of our board wipes, she protects herself with her -3 forcing opponents to sac their strongest creature, and her ultimate is at worst 3 damage and opponents empty handed, and at best 21 damage. And as an added bonus, she's also part of a 2 card infinite combo with a card we could easily be playing, Chain of Smog . Target ourselves with chain of smog and just keep copying the spell infinitely before letting it resolve.

the new commander storm mechanic has me thinking about Rings of Brighthearth, Basalt Monolith and Mycosynth Lattice. its a bit clunky but the commander storm mechanic checks the whole game not just the turn. you need a sack outlet online to make it work also need a boatload of life gain, but i'm sure im seeing something there.
