Licorice Skittles is a monoblack control deck built around the idea of playing lots of cheap interaction via removal and discard, and using powerful black tutors to search for our powerful card advantage pieces, the expensive interaction we need to run to deal with problematic enchantments and artifacts, or a quick Marit Lage against decks that can't handle it. Once we've taken decent control over the board, Skithiryx closes a game very quickly, and allows us to ignore our opponents life total.

We don't run many wincons beyond Skithiryx, but with the amount of hand hate we're running we shouldn't often have to run Skithiryx into situations where he can't survive. Once he's resolved, regeneration makes him very resilient and the game ends very quickly. If for whatever reason we lose the ability to win with Skithiryx, Liliana the last Hope and a Marit Lage token are both capable of ending the game quickly as well.
