Bondman007 I do plan on looking through the set soon for any upgrades. Not sure if I'll wait until the entire thing is spoiled or not

Love Liesa always get focused and taken out first though! xD What do you think about [Mindcrank] going infinite with [Bloodchief Ascension] & also [ankh of mishra] for more drain ?

umbris11 Good suggestions, and I did have that combo in my Oloro, Ageless Ascetic iteration of this deck. However, my playgroup doesn't like infinites so I'm trying to limit it to the drain combo I already have. Mindcrank can be feelbads because a lot of people don't have the right mindset about mill (treat it as if the cards are going on the bottom of your library and suddenly people are a lot less butthurt about it. Unless you have a lot of shuffling it's the same; you are never going to see those cards this game) but I don't blame them, discard can suck. Bloodchief Ascension is already in my list, and I have no plans of removing it.

The infinite combo definitely has merit and should be seriously considered by anyone though. I only choose not to run it for personal reasons.

Hi Santiago1011. Have a new suggestion for maybe board - Harsh Justice. I think a nice thing for the punishment theme.

clircrazy Hmm, that's definitely an interesting card. It'd be a little difficult to make it worthwhile, though I should typically have more health than my opponents. I feel like Comeuppance might be better since it prevents the damage as well (also works on non-combat damage). Not sure what I would take out for either of those cards though

Two of my favorite punishment type cards to run in a deck together at the moment are The Meathook Massacre and Grave Pact. Punish your opponents and gain life.

hott_mayo I actually run both of those in my Teysa Karlov deck, but not this deck. Both are pretty creature-cenrtric (notably, caring about MY creatures) and I only run 18 counting Liesa. Toxic Deluge also fulfills the role of The Meathook Massacre. Don't get me wrong, great cards. But I don't feel like I'd get a lot of value out of them with my smaller creature count.

Are there any cards you've intentionally left out for combo reasons? Or just plain mean? Similar to mindcrank/Bloodchief? I've got a very similar deck based largely on this. I wouldn't mind taking it up a notch

therubberduck45, I've written a change history for the deck which you can view to see what I remove and why. I just removed Drannith Magistrate because even though it's really good, it feels bad for my group. As for combos, I'm not too sure since I never really looked into them to begin with.

You can use Commander Spellbook and the advanced search to look up all infinite combos in any colors.

Hi again. Kind of sad of how Wizards have shifted all punishment cards to Red lately sincerely. These past sets not a single great drain for the deck (Innistrad was a total miss). C´mon we want more Court of ambitions and indulging patricians!

As far as recommendations, passive damage ala Indulgent, Ankh of Mishra, card alone can do at least 8-12 damage overall.

My version runs soul sisters, just think they are really worth in this deck. Reason I run New Heliod and keept Archangel of Thune. Running more creatures Sword of Light and Shadow becomes extra good, pumping a dude, a life trigger and recursion.

Lastly, my spiciest tech. Sower of Discord is a personal favorite and super fun in game. Shame it doesn't abuses life-loss, but anyway is strong and basically you are killing 2 players at the same time. There are games when you can choose yourself and the strongest opponent to avoid attacks and finish him off after that. Always Watching is another card I didn't belive would be so useful in the deck, many times I refuse to attack to defend, and this card gives your board vigilance and a little pump which is super nice.

Its been while since any comments on this deck but what about Warlock Class? That level 3 is pretty good doubling up Liesa's effect.
