This is the second version of my Life Drain deck which has been upgraded over time. The point is to drain life from your opponents and finish them once they are low. The commander is Obzedat, Ghost Council because he is somewhat big, hard to get rid of, and has a good life drain effect.

This deck is unfinished and has open slots because I am trying to replace some cards that did not see much use during my games using this deck.

Win Conditions:

Aetherflux Reservoir should be enough to kill a player in one hit. In multiplayer, you can combine this with Exquisite Blood to kill everyone.

Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond will win the game instantly if you can activate the combo. Vizkopa Guildmage or Cliffhaven Vampire can replace Sanguine Bond in a pinch.

Of course Felidar Sovereign is also in this deck, but it will need to be protected as it will be a prime target.

Honorable Mentions:

Debt to the Deathless , Exsanguinate , and Gray Merchant of Asphodel can all be used to finish off multiple low life players near the end of the game.

Things that can be changed:

Armageddon - This is only in here because my play group keeps putting all their lands down very quickly. This is a deterrent against that.

Wei Night Raiders - I love PTK and horsemanship, but this can easily be swapped out for a more cost effective card like Hypnotic Specter .
