I love the idea of using your life as a resource, and this deck hopefully does that with every draw.

I've got the Hissing Miasma's and Orim's Prayer's to help to stall out rush decks.

Tainted Sigil and Children of Korlis help out with the huge beats that don't care about my enchantments along with boosting the power of Sanguine Bond.

Swords to Plowshares is the single target removal but gives your opponent life, but can be used along Serra Ascendant and Divinity of Pride to net you a huge hit with Sanguine Bond. Ob Nixilis Reignited is also there for removal and card draw, not so much for his ult though.

Dark Confidant is the card draw I went with instead of Phyrexian Arena, dropping it a turn earlier really helps out. If it gets late enough in the game Griselbrand can either net me a new hand or a huge gain on life.

Mourning Thrull and Vault Skirge are great early game swingers that help give me evasion and sustain if need be.

Elspeth is my favorite planeswalker and so Elspeth Tirel found a nice comfy home here.
