Many aeons ago Yggdrasil, our great father of creation, gave life to our world. He intended to create good natured people that could help nourish and grow the forest to new heights. His intentions although in good spirit, let loose man that disregarded his ideals and invented those dreadful machines which they used to destroy our homes.

We will not sit idly by and watch our world be destroyed by our fathers creation. we move to restore balance and order, to Reclaim what has been lost to the ages. If man wants to cut down the forest, we will need to build an army to defend it.

Come to us brothers and sisters. Lend us your mana, your strength. Join the Onclave in the fight to Reclaim the world from the destruction of man. we will produce order in the world and show how man can live with-in nature with peace and order, just how Father intended.

Father has foreseen this event and has given us his wishes to mobilize the greatest army the world has ever seen. The very trees them selves will walk with us into battle to fight against the very machines that threaten to destroy them. Man's finite number of weapons will crumble to the endless forces of Selesnya's Onclave.

Why Trostani? Wheres all the Tokens? Show

After a decade of incremental changes this is what I've developed. I would like to explain a couple over arching deck construction points.

  1. If there is a creature that can produce the same effect that a sorcery could, I want it. This keeps the creature density high which is exactly what I want.
  2. There is a set of cards in the deck that (while are good on their own) when put together, creates a recursion loop that allows the deck to put any card from any zone into any other zone. largely facilitated by utility creatures. Even if the loop is disrupted from being complete, unless they can exile all of it in its entirety, they would only delay the inevitable. It will eventually happen. Because the loop is self recurring.
  3. The sideboard is swapped in before the game starts if I'm playing at a competitive table.

I have been told by people that I play with that this deck is a slow 8 on the power scale.

The name of the deck was suggested to me by Rothon.

Comments and suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
