This is my first deck (First Day on Tappedout as well). I used to play 8 or 9 years ago and as such I have to relearn many things. I have tried to build a deck that could give me life quickly as well as boost my creatures strength, then use these creatures to feed me more life as they take it away from the other player. I have some side board card ideas, but nothing I own yet, and learning its weaknesses may help in factor what I put into my sideboard. I have some possible card combinations. I suppose I am looking at different potential card combo's I don't see, and/or Cards that I might do without while rounding out weaknesses. A lot I know!

Some cards I think are helpful to my deckFelidar Sovereign could help later in the game, if damage I do to the other player doesn't work out.Gray Merchant of Asphodel could help do damage after I have some permanents in play.In gaining life with cards like, Nyx-Fleece Ram, Life Burst and Healing Salve , if I can play Wall of Limbs,Ajani's Pridemate or Sunbond on a Creature they also gain strength and defense.

With the Defiant Bloodlord + Sunbond + Vampiric Link if I get this out it could be a pretty powerful creature, there are a few others I could do this with as well. Not sure how I might stop a player from destroying them outright, except bringing them back with Necromantic Thirst , or adding in some other return cards. Something that returns permanents might be helpful as well.

So currently the two ways I see in winning is getting a creature (doesn't have to be Defiant Bloodlord) out quickly and then playing a Sunbond on them, followed by a few healing instants, pumping it up and attacking.

The other way to win is using Felidar Sovereign after I have gained over 40 health. I may try and add a Beacon of Immortality for an instant win, and/or a Rhox Faithmender to speed my creature power strategy or the life abundance path.
