My plan against eldrazi: Utter End. Entirely recommend it. If someone tells you four mana removal is bad, then casts ulamog and exiles a couple of your things, exile him instant speed and ask them how they feel about four mana removal now.

@AngelOfDivinity, That works as well. But I still like the 3 mana sac engines a bit more, though instant speed is nice. I will run both.

I really like this deck, so I'll keep sharing ideas as I get them. Another new creature spoiled is Lantern Scout. The Ally affix is great, and the Rally trigger would be bananas, especially with Drana's Emissary, and would even free up some room for stronger creatures without lifelink to gain a lot more life. Not sure what, the removal you have is great...I haven't played with a lifegain deck before and its fun to brew it!

What about origins lilliana because either she gains you life and they waste a removal spell on her, or she flips and you can start some discard and then return the soverign if it gets taken out. I dunno if thats a good idea haha but cool deck man

@ojmandias i like the idea, but i already have the Shambling Vents that hit the field tapped, and they have lifelink, so I'm not sure if I want more lands that enter tapped

@Aleboth93, Hidden Dragonslayer can't kill indestructible eldrazi, whereas Utter End can.

Yeah but there is only one indestructible eldrazi in the whole format, so hidden dragonslayer grants lifelink together with killing almost everything strong; you can still keep your utter end in your side and mainboard it when you find ulamog...

You can use Alhammarret's Archive as a card that's standard legal like Rhox Faithmender.

@kittycatsupremeoverlord You could also use Ajani, Mentor of Heroes for beefing up your creatures, pulling cards from the top of your deck, and that nice 100 life.
