Agree with him. Better run Stoneforge Mystic and Stonehewer Giant for your equipments, yo. An Umezawa's Jitte and Sword of Feast and Famine would be killers here as well. And Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx to help with some mana boost.

@Sleyer666

Someone is mad they play blue combo...

@Arcangel266

Cut Serra's Blessing for Heliod, God of the Sun if you really want that effect. Overall this card is weak though.

Vigil for the Lost seems awful you're playing a commander that makes everything indestructible...

Cut Nihil Spellbomb for Tormod's Crypt same effect cost 0 mana...

I general there are many "weaker" cards I would cut for similar or stronger effects. I understand wanting to be thematic and having fun with your EDH deck I just also think doing "cool big and powerful" stuff is also very much what is in line with EDH and I would like to seem more stuff like that. If you'd like more ideas let me know.

I would consider picking up Magus of the Disk and Nevinyrral's Disk because they combo so well with Avacyn, Angel of Hope , You might want to consider picking up Darksteel Forge as well with the disk. The disk is the strong of the two because it doesn't get hit by creature removal.

Pick up a Swords to Plowshares and Temporal Isolation would make a great replacement for Pacifism same effect (more or less) and its instant.

Cheers,

Check out my EDH deck for ideas, comments, suggestions, and +1's greatly appreciated Zedruu EDU (Help Welcomed)

I want to say I like the list a lot more. I'm glad things are beginning to come together for you. How is the deck play with friends? That's really one of the most important things.

I really like seeing more of those mana rocks, I randomly play-tested a hand and casting a turn 5 Avacyn, Angel of Hope felt like it would have to be very strong.

Some cards I think you'd like to look into acquiring are Arid Mesa and any of the other "good" fetches for plains. Ancient Tomb is more good excel. Emeria, The Sky Ruin is almost free here. Dust Bowl is good for dealing with enemy problem lands (this really depends on what people are running). Homeward Path would be nice if you get sick of people using Control Magic effects on your pretty little Avacyn, Angel of Hope which could be devastating. Kor Haven another white utility land which is always nice. Mystifying Maze and Maze of Ith if you're into that type of thing.

Thanks for the shout out. It's always nice to see decks come together. Other then some "free" sleep lands I think you'll get a good feel for your deck as you play it. What you like and don't like about it. I could see this deck becoming very hated by people because of the power behind Avacyn, Angel of Hope and ''wrath' type effects.

I'm a huge sucker for card advantage, honestly I think its one of the most important things for EDH. You may loost at things like Ranger of Eos with a proper back-up package. You already run some like Weathered Wayfarer add things like Mother of Runes , Devoted Caretaker , Planar Guide et alia it can become a powerful utility card. It can also act like a mini army in a can with your Serra Ascendant or even a Student of Warfare to rebuild your board position.

Let us know how the deck begins to play out and what changes you make or want to make are in the future. Does your play group hate on you? What are they running? Let us know.

Cheers,

My group really hates me. They play a lot of making me sacrifice things, and they usually play exile target creature things. Moreover, some play this black sorcery, which exiles one card from my deck face down, and they may play it, as long it remains exiled. More than once Ioona has killed me. Thanks for your positive comment, and i will consider the cards named, and will do a new change. Hold the Line proved to be useful, but still there are better cards, and this is just an example. Ill add a slideboard also.

True Conviction is an incredibly useful card

Im sure your group doesn't hate you, you must be imagining things, and as far as for that Iona issue i'd say that just a taste of your own medicine. Nice deck still, however if you use Armageddon + Avacyn against me I will punch you though

angangg Thanks for leaving your comment. The problem with Extraplanar Lens is that it benefits my opponent too. It has harmed more than what it benefited some times, so i removed it. I should plan on getting a sideboard

Gauntlet of Power will also let your opponents tap for double mana.

Also maybe switch Seal of Cleansing for Aura of Silence , although it's an extra white you get the added benefit of making players pay an extra 2 for artifacts and enchantments (which will include the God's from Theros).

suggestions Swords to Plowshares , Condemn , Unexpectedly Absent . They are all crazy good tuck effects. Sun Titan has done some heavy lifting in my avacy deck. Take a look you might see something you like. Avacyn, Angel of Eterity Great deck here, keep up the good work.

I have to upvote for Angel of Jubilation . Great art and it shuts down a surprising amount of annoying combo.

If this were my deck, I'd want Otherworldly Journey , Tawnos's Coffin , Expedition Map , Wayfarer's Bauble and Temple of the False God . I'd also ditch Iona for Sun Titan as suggested earlier, because my friends like to play magic too and I don't play for prizes. The first two suggestions are for getting Avacyn back under your control when that pesky blue mage inevitably steals her.

Tomorrow ill update the deck. lots of changes where done, and its been a while since i dont do it. Once again, ill mention and give proper credit to the people who without them this deck would be so crappy. Again, Sun Titan , its kind of weird, and im not convinced, but gonna give it a try, as it may be useful in a lost and found sword-graveyard shop.
