Perfect description. Being able to shit your pants at every card means you've truly found the deck you should be playing. +10.

Your curve is too demanding for a control deck. With delver out of the deck your land count should at the least be 22-26 depending on if this is midrange or control. The land counts absolutely need to hit in this kind of build otherwise you will fall behind and with out that 1 mana you can not be able to both counter a spell and remove a threat which is critical in esper, grixis, and dimir decks. Otherwise the deck seems fairly solid just gonna have to find cards that do not make or break this deck and replace them with lands.magic still needs lands to do anything lol

Thanks for pointing out the obvious, lol, I missed that in my manic fit. Let me know what you think.

Esper Delver seems pretty sweet! Some Glacial Fortress/Drowned Catacomb might be nice to help smooth out the mana, and a couple Ghost Quarter might be useful. Lingering Souls also seems like something you should consider, even if it were for the SB.

For the SB, the following might be nice -

Good luck with the deck :)

to me the removal on its over costed returning a 1 cmc monster to play isnt that good but i do like that you can get delver but hes your only target for that and if you want a bounce card theres beter out there

To all those who have made suggestions:Stony Silence - kataki's wage does more against more decks.Negate/dispel - swan song and spell pierce are better, straight up.Duress - play test the deck and you'll know that the hand disruption is already super potent.Celestial purge - subpar removal and there's plenty of premium already here.Check lands - originally were in the list but we're removed for resilience to moon blood ;)

Oh, and lingering souls! While I love it, I feel like the 3 drop slot is well covered.. Talk me into removing something for the spot?

Swan song kills your delvers. That seems really bad. Spell Pierce seems much more appropriate.

Or it just hits my face for two. The thing about the birds is it's still good long game.

Is Sultai Scavenger better than Gurmag Angler here?

I'd probably cut Swan Song for something like Spell Snare.

Bump in the Night seems pretty poor in a list that isn't dedicated on burn. It also interacts poorly with delve, which is a big mechanic in this deck.

Other than that I think it looks pretty sweet :D

I feel as though the scavenger compliments delver well, as he can come in on t2, following your t1 delver. I've considered Gurmag and Tombstalker, but as they don't allow the t1 delver, if I were to include one it would probably be as a one of with two of the birds, still. And Swan Song is amazing! I don't know why more people don't feel the same way. It's a hard counter for multiple spell types ie. splinter twin, damnation, cryptic command, etc. I just feel much safer with it in hand than I do spell pierce, as it was in my original list. And as far as Bump is concerned, this space used to be dedicated to hand removal, but it felt out of place almost, so I thought the extra reach would be worthwhile. What would you put in its place? :-)

I just don't like Swan Song because the bird token trades with your Delver of Secrets  Flip and Geist of Saint Traft, but If you prefer it over Spell Snare that's ok.

I'd probably drop Bump in the Night for more Serum Visions and possibly Esper Charm/Lingering Souls.

I'd go Orzhov Charm over Vendetta just for the flexibility.

I was using orzhov charm - here's my logic: days doing on t4 vs t5, 1 mana up on their turn vs 2. So in that new 7, what can I play on their turn before I untap again?

hazphokksy says... #20

Countersqual may just need to be swan song, with the regard. I know the bird can possibly trade with some of my creatures, but I think it's worth the insurance on knowing the twin combo I just helped my opponent get isn't going to resolve

This Esper list looks like a lot of fun - I'm definitely going to try it out!

Let me know what you think :) my concerns right now are Swan Song x2 vs Countersquall x2, as well as the 2x Seeker of the Way in the board. The rest of the deck I'm nearly 100% on, but I'm iffy about those 4 spots.
