I have been playing a similar build on mtgo for a while, but you currently can't use liliana as a commander online because the program is bugged. This deck has been ported to paper to try her out.

Game plan is pretty simple: draw cards, control the board, win with big plays at the end.

Start with the same ubiquitous mana ramp as every other deck out there, plus a couple huge additions that mono-black gives you access to in Crypt Ghast and Cabal Coffers.

Next there's the sacrifice fodder. I don't use many tokens for this purpose because lili can't trigger off token deaths. Also, there are so many easily recurred creatures and cheap recursion engines in black that tokens aren't as necessary. Fodder includes: Bloodsoaked Champion, Gravecrawler, Reassembling Skeleton, and Hangarback Walker.

Then you have ways to benefit from the sacrifice: Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, Butcher of Malakir, Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Urborg Justice and Harvester of Souls.

There's is a ton of card draw as all mono-black decks have. And loads of spot removal and board wipes.

All of this leads up to a big finish. Either lili ultimate, Sheoldred, Whispering One board lock, or my favorite Rise of the Dark Realms.

No infinite combo. No stax lock. No mass land destruction. Just fair control, as honest as black can get.
