So no Dark Deal? It definitely fits the deck but I guess since you already have plenty of other things that do the same job you don't necessarily need it? Just a thought.

I tried Dark Deal in an early version of the deck. The fact that it messes with your hand proved problematic. This deck does not like to be disrupted, and now that more powerful options like Collective Defiance are available, there's really no place for it any more. I appreciate your input though!

Awesome deck! As a budget player, is there aby replacement for Liliana of the Veil? She seems to not be completely necessary for the win but just so happens to be the most expensive card in the deck.

Thanks! Liliana is definitely a strong card, but she is in here partially for flavor. There are a couple options for replacing her two slots with more budget-friendly options. I think any two of these cards in her place could be reasonable:

Wrench Mind
Waste Not
Pyroclasm
Fatal Push
Collective Defiance

What do you think about the new Shadow of the Grave? Shadow of the Grave

Hi lexleningrad

Shadow of the Grave is an interesting card here, but it basically represents a grindy secondary combo with Burning Inquiry that is able to refill my hand when I am able to play the two in tandem. However, given that I'm usually playing Burning Inquiry in combination with a second card like Reverberate already, I don't see many opportunities that I would be able to play Shadow of the Grave practically, and even fewer cards that I am able to take out of the deck to make room for it.

I appreciate the suggestion though! Thanks for thinking of my when you saw it :-)

Hi

Your deck is cheap, you could go down to 22 or 21 lands without a lot of trouble I think.

And +2 (or 3) Thoughtseize, for example, to remove any disruption T1.

+1 for me, I really like Liliana trying to do Chandra stuff "her way" :p

Hey Mannu_1978!

Although the aCMC is very low, it is pretty critical that the deck hits its first four land drops. Definitely more important in this deck than in GBx decks that run 23-24 land with aCMC's of 2.2-2.4.

Inquisition and Thoughtseize are really important in a lot of matchups. My mainboard is set up for a meta that does not have much disruption, which is why my Inquisitions and Thoughtseizes are in the sideboard.

Thanks for the upvote, and I like your reason lol!

I've been running this lately with a playset of Lotus Bloom jammed in place of a few lands and removal and it makes the combo a bit more likely to go off quickly.

Thanks for the tip! I have a couple Lotus Blooms laying around, so Ill try this next time I take the deck out.

This looks terrifying! +1
I love Liliana's Caress. No Pyretic Ritual or the like?

You could probably go Legacy with this by adding Dark Ritual and Pyretic Ritual
