The sideboard isn't set in stone at all. Just an idea I had

I'd suggest 2x Liliana of the Dark Realms and 1x Liliana of the Veil you'd want that emblem for your swamps.

Standard and flavor-driven is a difficult order, but this seems pretty damn good. You kill, kill, kill, discard, kill, and recur stuff. Very Liliana, and the use of heavy Liliana flavor text helps. The only thing I take issue with is Undying Evil . You will use it in this deck, but I'm not sure you'll use it enough. Maybe a Liliana's Specter would be better? It essentially can draw a kill spell for you just as Undying Evil can, and it can be cast earlier than Undying Evil on a Desecration Demon or a Rise from the Grave -d creature, to save you time and mana.

But Liliana's Specter isn't standard. I could make it work better if it were modern

One question, and I know it doesn't use Liliana Flavor Text, but have you considered swapping the Disentomb s for Unburial Rites ? It will bump up your mana curve, but it gives you a better chance of being able to reanimate Griselbrand , and if you wanted to you could even pull out 4x Swamp for 4x Godless Shrine s, and have a little access to white mana for the flashback, without hurting your Swamp count for Mutilate . Feel free to say no, this is just a thought. :)

thats why i have Rise from the Grave too

I realize that. I meant running both, because then you would have 7x cards capable of reanimating a Griselbrand , and if you splashed in the Godless Shrine s, effectively 10x capable of reanimating Griselbrand . And you would have the option of discarding an Unburial Rites with Liliana of the Veil 's +1, and flashbacking the Rites for a little less even. Like I said, just a thought.

this is one of the neatest deck i've seen recently. if you're willing to break the theme a tad theres some fun stuff to look at and consider such as Crypt Ghast for ramp, Demonic Rising if things are going slow and Descent into Madness for rainy days. Not really game changing stuff, more like party favors.

I also think it would be beneficial to splash white in here for the benefit of replacing Rise from the Grave with Unburial Rites and adding Lingering Souls . Maybe Obzedat, Ghost Council . Both the sorcery cards can be profitably discarded as well.

Your deck looks pretty cool, I like the style, I like the flavor and I like the flavor text..., but I'll have to make some tests with it before being able to tell you what I really think of it.

I would take out the Phylactery Lich from your sideboard. the only artifacts you have are your Rakdos Keyrune in your sideboard.

No Liliana of the Dark Realms ? Then you could put in some dual lands and move Rakdos's Return into the main.

Ok, I've been testing your deck some times and I found that it's a really aggressive and I like it a lot, but I felt like there is a little something holding you back and it took me some time to find it. I think this deck takes a little time to set up while making a lot of discard and kill since you only have 6 creatures and no other winning condition.

What the deck is asking in the early game is: "please give the time needed to destroy everything you have and then I will destroy you". But then, you play Killing Wave and Desecration Demon and tell your opponent, you have a choice between giving me some time or taking damage and losing creatures. As your opponent, I always chose to not give you time, pay the price and continue to attack you until the finishing blow.

I think the more 2cmc and especially the more 1cmc cards you'll have, the less cards you'll have to discard with Liliana and the more efficient your deck will become. So here are my suggestions:

-3 Disentomb - it is only slowing you down, how could they kill your creatures if they don't have cards in hand ? Plus, in the first turn, you should kill more stuff instead.

-2 Murder for 1cmc and 2cmc kill spells. The 3rd turn is no time for kill spell, it's time for Liliana the Queen.

-3 Killing Wave for a better control witch doesn't gives your opponent's choice. But you definitly should keep one for it's still a good card and for the flavor text. : )

-2 Desecration Demon again for not letting your opponent chose your destiny.

Now with your free spots, you could use cards like:

-Typhoid Rats , Tragic Slip , Victim of Night and/or Ultimate Price for more killing on the first and second turn, before the arrival of Liliana.

-Appetite for Brains , Black Cat and/or Drainpipe Vermin for more discard... on the first and second turn.

-Pack Rat for a backup plan to discard your Griselbrand or simply to use a card before using Liliana's first ability when a killing or a discard spell is no longer needed.

This is my opinion and I hope that I was able to respect the concept of the your deck.

now it's time for me to give you my +1... ; )
