About 1 game out of 5. But I understand that it's a casual deck prioritizing the flavor. Not only I respect that, but I also like the flavor and it deserve a +1 in my point of view.

It went 4-0 for my deck.

First game: Your deck drop me at about 3 lives with Killing Wave s but it was my choice, saving my creatures to give you more damage each turns..

Second game was close because of Mutilate followed with 2 Desecration Demon . It almost made me change my mind about the demon, but then I got a Rancor and scavenge 2 Dreg Mangler that I had to sac for my survival and attack with a 9/7 trample Experiment One . One of your demon was tapped from the previous attack the other was there for the defense since I only had one creature left. I was at 7 lives and your deck would probably have won next turn.

Third game was easily won by me. I didn't get any Mutilate for you deck to stop my army.

I played a last game just in case, but I still won easily. With Mind Rot , Killing Wave , Griselbrand on hand on the 5th turn, there was nothing to be done to stop the aggression of the zombies.

The cards that gives me the most problem are Mind Rot and Mutilate . The cards that just doesn't work against me are Desecration Demon and Killing Wave . I almost always sac a creature for the demon especially when I have a Gravecrawler on the battlefield. And Killing Wave is part of my deck so it deals with it pretty well. Maybe I wasn't lucky at all, but in all the tests I have made with your deck, I draw Griselbrand only once and could not put it onto the battlefield.

You should also make the tests to see what you like in the deck and maybe you'll play it better than me. And make sure to test it against other deck too. You can't have a clear idea against only one deck.

I think that your deck is better against control but lack speed against aggro, that's why I almost just test it against an aggro deck. I wanted to feel what could be change to reverse that weakness into another strength.

I'm sad... Where is the deck that I have liked ? I'm sorry about what happened to you and your deck today. I think that you took that lost to seriously and change to much stuff too fast. As I said before, your deck wasn't bad, but was probably better against control. That's why I challenge it against an aggro to find a way to make it a little better against it's hard counter. Remember that all decks have weakness. It's just normal.

Your deck was good and people liked it for what it was. It was not a tournament deck, but it was an awesome one with a great flavor. You could just have make it little better without changing it's goal. And if you want a tournament deck, you could start another deck from scratch with that goal. Winning a tournament is not the goal of the cool deck you had. The flavor was it's goal and you did it with great success and people liked it.

I have one last suggestion for you today. Leave your deck as it is and sleep on it. Then tomorrow, you'll chose if you want to change the goal of your deck for a tournament level or if you want to keep it as a casual with flavor. Then you will be able to get as close to that chosen goal as possible.

And if you want more help tomorrow or later, fell free to ask me, it'll be my pleasure.

:-)

Actually if you look only Geralf's Messenger , Tragic Slip and the demons are the only ones without flavor texts

the only comment i have is that you could maybe thin out the land by one or two other then that +1 for flavor and deck structure

jokercrow your right I took that loss really hard and lost sight of why I made it in the first place. But now with the way I tore it down and rebuilt it. Not only do I save money, but I got to re-add some of the Liliana cards I never wanted to take out in the first place. I do see alot of control decks at my fnm. But I see more aggro decks than anything. With naya humans, rdw and thragtusk/restoration angel decks this probably won't be the deck to take to my fnm. And I just got so caught up with its popularity that I thought I could finally win top 8

Alright with your current build it went 5-1.

Game one I got 2 Mayor of Avabruck  Flip out right away and got you down to 8 before you were able get a Mutilate off. Falkenrath Aristocrat hit you killed it next turn and I hit you with a morbid Brimstone Volley . Ending life 13

Game two couple of Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip proved to be too much for Gravecrawler and Geralf's Messenger . Ending life 16

Game three killed many of my creatures with a couple Mutilate and Tragic Slip then held off for a while with Liliana of the Veil . Killed liliana with a Brimstone Volley then brought in a Instigator Gang  Flip and next turn swung in for 13 with Falkenrath Aristocrat and Wildblood Pack  Flip it was game after that. Ending life 8.

Game four got turn 3 Garruk, Primal Hunter and made beasts and playing creatures but couldn't keep up with your creature destruction. Unable to hit garruk he ultimated swung for win. Ending life 9.

Game five was slow for me due to all your kill spells, but was able to get a Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip to stick for a while. You got your Griselbrand out. You were able to keep bringing him back with his card draw and get your Rise from the Grave . Had nothing big enough to stop him. Your ending life 31.

With all the board wipes your creatures take heavy hits as well. I tried it back when it was heavy on discarding and I feel it did better then. I would have no answers in hand which left me top decking and most times playing cards right as I get them so as to not discard them. With all these board wipes I think you should switch up your creatures so you can use Immortal Servitude to recover hard next turn.

I think you need to add white and turn it into a reanimator. So you can have some more answers and use Unburial Rites

i feel like you may need one more liliana because she seems like the heart to this deck. Other than that id say maybe 4x mutilate and switch killing wave to 3x very solid for sure. and perhaps for an additional 1 drop diregraf ghoul?
