Winning the game at one life is the same as winning at 40. Use everything to your advantage with this deck if you want the chance to show your opponents just what you're made of.

This deck has several ways of winning, all of which will usually syphon life from your foes.

WinCon 1: A Fine Offering

Pain is the name of this game and Blood Artist loves to give it out, for a small price. Using Gravecrawler and Phyrexian Altar and any one of your many zombies kicking it back on the battlefield. You can drain each of your opponents until everyone is dead all the while gaining unholy amounts of life. This combo does require some set up and I would suggest first keeping an eye on what mana is still untapped around the board before attempting this combo, but once it is set in motion, it is very difficult to stop. I would especially keep your guard up with protecting the Phyrexian Altar as there is very little Artifact recursion to find.

WinCon 2: At Least You Had A Choice

Torment of Hailfire is a favorite all across the board, but in this deck, it can surely be a method of victory for you to achieve. If it doesn't outright kill your opponents, then they will likely have nothing left to block the army of the undead you've established or perhaps even allow you to simply combo away with any of the other WinCons in this deck. The important part is to make sure you have enough mana to make it count.

WinCon 3: Your Devotion Is Acknowledged

Gray Merchant of Asphodel also known as Gary is one of your greatest assets in this deck. With the sheer amount of resurrection you can use here, letting Gary die and hit the battlefield over and over again can drain your opponents in seconds while allowing you to gain an incredibly valuable amount of life. There is plenty of devotion to be found in this deck and once Gary touches down, everyone will know they are on the clock.

WinCon 4: The Last Hope

lets say everything else has failed. Your combo pieces have been exiled, your artifacts sent to the graveyard and your Torment of Hailfire has been countered. Why are you afraid? There's still an army here to crush your enemies with, and with the help of a certain magical sword Luxior, Giada's Gift, Liliana will be leading the charge. Use spells like the The Elderspell to burn out your extra planeswalker or anyone else's to instantly gain access to your most valuable planeswalker's ultimate ability. Use the massive scores of undead to your advantage and crush your opponents with overwhelming odds. Just remember, life is a resource, don't forget to use it.
