Update 4: Signature Spellbook: Liliana —Feb. 11, 2022
Thanks to the recent release of Signature Spellbook... err, well, I mean, I guess it's actually called Commander Collection Black. Regardless, much like Signature Spellbook: Chandra, this product had included many things that I wanted to include into the deck. Combine that with recently epiphanies made during some games with the deck, and I've come up with yet another update for it. First, I'll give my reasoning for both the new cards, and the cards removed.
Ghouls' Night Out felt rather lackluster in many games I played with it, so it got the boot. With Black Market I noticed that it usually came out late game where it was less useful. It also had the undesired effect of being removed before I could get any value out of it. Liliana's Caress was a powerful hate card that synergized with my discard theme. Unfortunately, since Discard isn't the primary theme of the deck, it became more of an annoyance for my opponents. It wouldn't really do too much in most games, and usually subconsciously made me a target for playing it. Coffin Queen was another card in the deck that I was excited for. Unfortunately, it didn't do much in the majority of the games. Cabal Stronghold is also reaching the end of its lifespan, as it's really never done anything for me, thanks to the requirement of needing basic swamps.
Likewise, for the new cards Toxic Deluge and Phyrexian Arena were both cards I desired for the deck, and their new arts and prints finally made that a reality. Josu Vess, Lich Knight was another card I've been wanting to add. It serves as a nice body early game, and be a near-finisher late game, and can be recast with Haakon, Stromgald Scourge . What's not to love. Finally, with all the life loss in the deck, and the fact that I pay life so often, I need another solid source of lifegain. Whip of Erebos fit perfectly, as it can also help revive creatures from my graveyard, while also allowing me to gain a ton of life. Finally, I've updated the arts, printings, and foiling of many cards in the deck, including the basic lands, my Commander, Reanimate, and more.

Last thing: Once Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty is released, I'm going to be making one final switch:
- Cabal Stronghold to be removed, and to be replaced with Takenuma, Abandoned Mire

dingaling15 Those are great cards for the deck. I originally ran Hero's Downfall in the deck, and it was really only removed when I streamlined it. So, in a more budget-friendly build, it works great. For Archghoul of Thraben, I'm actually going to be adding it to the deck soon. It's a great card, in my opinion, and definitly not expensive.

Surprised to not see Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. Is there a reason why you didn't put him in?
