Standard Discard Deck
Early game:Control the opponent by taking his most precious cards right from the start and make it get painful as soon as you play Liliana's Caress.
Mid game:Liliana's Caress is most important. Make use of Sign in Blood or Liliana Vess to get it. Play it before your discard spells. Take the opponent's creatures when discarding, as you will have no defense besides the Guul Draz Specters.
Late game:If your opponent manages to stay alive, put him in a Painful Quandary by making him choose wether to discard and take some damage or just take a bigger bunch of damage. If you can bring him down to zero cards, Quest for the Nihil Stone will burn him very fast.
VS removal/counter/burn:Be first! Fetch counterspells from opponent's hand. Even if he counters them - they are gone. And mostly it's a bad mana tradeoff for him. The only targets are your few creatures. Protect your Enchantments at any cost.
VS fattie aggro:You actually don't need removals for fatties, for it's better to discard them before - but nothingtheless: If they're white, use Deathmark, otherwise use Go for the Throat and Doom Blade.
VS weenie aggro:Remove some of your creatues and put in some Shrivels. Add Disfigure if you want to eliminate bigger threats.
VS land burning:It takes until turn three to cast land destruction spells... that's three turns too late.
