How do you type without opposable thumbs?! Unless youre a monkey... But they don't normally eat meat. That's impressive.

zetaalphachi, what would you take out for them? I mostly don't run any because sorcery speed. And I don't find the planeswalker killing part to be all that relavent.

Meh. Dreadbore suffers immensely from sorcery speed. If you don't mind 3 mana I'd just play Hero's Downfall. In all honesty you're fine with terminate, bolt and command. And funeral charm for absolute weenies/turn 1 creatures/bobs.

Hallowed, if anything you would add a set of Murderous Cut if you really wanted more creature hate. The one really major top 8-rack has had in the past year mained 4. Your killspells are honestly fine as you are. Murderous has cemented itself as one of the best killspells in modern since the release of khans. Consider it if you feel you need more control.

Rakdos's Return might be good for you to work into this deck
February 1, 2016 5:04 p.m.
A bit different than most of the 8-Rack decks I've seen, much more aggressive. I just converted my 8-Rack over to Rakdos (8-Rakdos) and I've had much better results, but I'm still going with the Ensnaring Bridge package.
The first thing that came to mind as a suggestion was Dreadbore, but I agree with your reasoning that instant speed is stronger in this build. With that in mind, Rain of Gore/Tainted Remedy seem like good sideboard options (life gain really hurts burn, and this stops infinite life combos). Also, I'd go with Surgical Extraction over Extirpate, but that could just be preference.
Overall, great deck. +1 from me.

8-rack is often labelled unviable in part due to being slow. I think Hallowed is right in being more proactive in his playstyle.

I totally agree. While my build is a bit more of a hybrid, that extra damage from Blightning makes the race at the end go a LOT faster.

Thanks for commenting raefgall I use extirpate for split second and because I don't have any surgicals lol. I'll go check out your build as well.
How's it been Yamishi? I still love seeing all that red ; )

What's the reasoning for no Bloodstained Mire? Seems like there's a chance you'll not draw any sources. If possible I'd trade 4 Swamps straight up. I would also consider a singleton Mountain in case you see land hate a la Ghost Quarter - nothing worse than being hated out and having dead cards in hand.
All in all looks like a really fun deck - especially with the Phyrexian Obliterator include. Deliciously evil!

I would +1 this, but I don't want to ruin the 69... Great deck anyway!

None of that nonsense, medium at nice steak houses. Medium well at local places. Haha. If I cook it at home, I make it perfect. :p Cast iron for the win.
