I have to say that it pains me a little bit to see a mono black deck without Necropotence. Outside of that, have you considered adding the monoliths so you can generate infinite mana for the Exsanguinate kill?

PlattBonnay Thanks for taking a look. I purposely do not run Necropotence because too often it'd screw me over and I'm not a good enough player to utilize it effectively.

And I play tested Basalt Monolith but it came up too often without rings. Seeing it doesn't gain me anything on it's own, I decided against it.

I'd rather not tutor for 2 cards that don't win the game. I'd rather tutor for mikaeus and triskelion.

Then you'd be better of playing another mono color, if you're not going to play the tutors that finish combos, it's just more reliant to have the tutors, and have the option of completing combos, or winning games

The point of the deck is to have Liliana lol. He can't change the color of his deck if he wants to use her as a general xD

Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni, Works fantastically with token. Korlash, Heir to Blackblade, mono-black scaler with regen is great with low mana costs. And if your sacrificing stuff, board control is a factor with Grave Pact

Oh and if you really want to get dirty, Filth is so mean with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth.

Have you considered Army of the Damned for this deck. The mana shouldn't be too much a issue and you can flashback it for a second use or discard fodder.

There is a bunch of stuff I could suggest. I feel this is a good deck, but lacks a solid direction. I took mine to combo off. Yours seems to be a balance of good stuffs. It will take a bunch of play testing to really figure stuff out. I feel you have a pretty good grasp on what you should do, now just to learn what you have done.

the issue is it has to have multiple win cons. It's supposed to be a mono black control list that controls till I get a win con, because it it's just straight up combo, Sidis would make a better general and I set out to build Liliana as my general.
