the "lords" in the deck are things that limit attacks such as Silent Arbiter and things that let you benifit from killing thier creatures like the commander Lim-Dul the Necromancer

key assasins in the deck are Royal Assassin, Kiku, Night's Flower , and Scarblade Elite

planeswalkers are really good when you can dissuade attackers, and while a lot of the removal is extra when all of your creatures are trained killers I couldn't pass up anything that felt assassin themed.
