I noticed you didn't have a list for Titania, Protector of Argoth in your tier 3's and was wondering if you'd be interested in mine?http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/titania-competitive-2/

calldonna, Your curve is way too high. Optimized Titania doesn't need stuff like Ulamog.

Also I've been posting my list here since before we had T3 decks up :P

n0bunga Let me know if you get it back up. I am kind of interested in building Samut. Kind of leaning toward a hatebear/combo deck.

OK lots of nominations for either featuring or using as a template by others:

Krenko

Hapatra

hazezon tamar

2 versions of samut.

samut for consistency

Glass cannon samut

I'm just going to keep brewing the tier 3 lists until theyre done. Also will continue to draw issue to the broken links/missed formatting

chaosumbreon87 I'm not 100% sure about a couple of the lists you posted. The tier 3 lists I don't have a strong opinion on but I think Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons had potential to be at least 2.5 and I think in particular that list is lack luster. I can appreciate the counter synergy but I'm not sure that's the best strategy for her for starters. Plus it's ruining cards like Satyr Wayfinder that I think just aren't up to snuff. I could be wrong, so someone feel free to check me, but I don't think that's the list for this list.

HarroHunter My reasoning for my hapatra list was that I'm a graveyard oriented deck sith a fairly large emphasis on necrotic ooze (main win con). That justified satyr wayfinder in my books. Whiffing on him is one of the best things since I'm that much closer to a win. I might switch the quillspike combo out but the fact that I can pod out quillspike into necrotic ooze and use quillspike's ability for some kill spells. That being said, im still testing if eldrich evolution is worth it via cockatrice (this site's playtest option is pretty bad)

I can see hapatra at tier 2.5 but I needed the counters theme or else this would just be a bad meren or worse sidisi.

I dont mind people focusing on the tier 1-2 decks but i'm at the very least trying to give people a template with at least a consistent turn 5 win through some disruption. Eventually with more playtesting I'll try to get it faster but I'm trying to not lose consistency at the same time.

Ok the context you've added helps thanks. And I get that most of my paper decks are in that solid tier 3 area and I actually have run Hazezon Tamar for a long time.

I think 73% chance to combo on turn 4/5 + backup prison plan puts it in tier 2.5 (maybe even tier 2?).

sonnet666 Sachi is at least a turn slower than Seton because Seton's ability gets around summoning sickness

xxSkedz24xx, I've built the deck. I know what their differences are: Optimized Sachi, Daughter of Seshiro.

The thing is that she's not even a turn slower most of the time. She might come down a turn later than Seton, but because you've gotten an extra turn to drop shamans out of your hand, and because her mana production is twice that of Seton, she frequently recoups 6 mana the turn she comes down, essentially a Time Walk in green, which allows her to combo on the same turns that Seton would be going off.

Also, with 5 slots devoted to haste effects and the ability to see 25% of your deck every game with Collective Unconscious effects, it's pretty easy to mitigate the summoning sickness disadvantage.

Seton is still slightly better, but Sachi is definitely a T3 deck.

The cEDH winter tourney semi final matches have concluded. The top 4 decks include Chain Veil Teferi, Turbofroggy, Sans Red Thrasios telepathy control, and sans white Thrasios Buried Alive Nooze combo. It confirmed my impression that Thrasios is a contender for best overall commander even though my list lost, and JaysonSunshine is vindicated in his assertion that Gitrog is a contender for top 5 status. Since the top 16 matches were single elimination Zur and FCT could have easily had multiple decks in the finals too.

Here is a link to the top 16 decks from the tournament. Most of them are what would be expected, but there were definitely some suprising decks among the top 16.

I find it interesting that the linked Turbofroggy list plays Lake of the Dead but no Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth. Is it just there to basically draw a card in place of land drop or am I missing something?

Hey everyone, I have been inspired to try to do Purphoros cEDH again, and this time, I'm using rituals and non-untapping rocks to try to make this version much faster. How does this list look so far? I don't know too much about cEDH except what I've researched online, so I would love input from any experienced cEDH players.

Trying to do Purphoros cEDH

Thank you in advance!

Protean Hulk may actually change the game we know and the tier decklists' order. Meren and other BG decks have their Boonweaver, Karador has strictly better Boonweaver and UG decks have a 2 card combo with Flash for 2 mana at instant speed. That's quite amazing.

The only bad thing is the Leo's ban :(.

thegigibeast and NarejED, I just realized that the name of this list could be improved to "List of All Commanders by Tier (Multiplayer)" for a more professional look (my opinion, of course), a more official title ("EDH" and "Generals" are unofficial terms), and a more intelligible title (this list is of multiple players?).

Thoughts?
