Where can I get an optimized Edric list, the one that is on here is outdated

Catshit: Not everyone can afford those, however, the list is far better than the one above. And that's why things exist as, how to upgrade this from a non budget to a super non budget version. It still has the best primer I have seen to date for a Yidris build here on tapped out with a list that makes the most sense.

kayakenobi decks on this list are supposed to be reflective of what a Commander deck can be with a limitless budget. Just because someone can't afford the cards needed to be featured here doesn't mean they should be for having a primer for a sub optimal list.

@sonnet666 aside from having trest in common Leovold also canceled out edric's drawing ability. Now with leovold banned I believe Edric is much less hated out from the command zone. He should probably resume the tier 1 spot he had prior to Leovold's printing.

Azami is viable again too without leovold around. I think she should move up half a tier.

IronBlackZepp I really don't think that Leo being banned makes a commander with draw power viable or not viable. Azami and Edric have been viable even with Leo in the meta. Hell, if we're gonna talk about bumping up commander with draw power then we have to move up Arcanis, Azami, and Edric half a tier because of 1 card. Don't get me wrong, I love Azami probably more than anyone else, but I don't think one card being banned is enough to elevate her a half tier and the same goes for the other 2.

I mean I guess that is somewhat true since Leo was in my meta for a bit, I even ended up builing him and azami could still win. Man was it tough though.

I dont think Edric is close to tier 1 and I have my doubts about Azami being tier 1.5. There have been a large number of decks that passed them with recent printings and hulk being unbanned. The mimeoplasm and Sidisi Brood Tyrant got MUCH better. Anafesa the foremost is now viable with the graveyard being abused, and child of Alara finally has a deck that the baby is best suited for (among the pile of trash that is 5 color generals). Speaking of the angry baby here is working model of the deck. It should replace my horrible alara baby brew with the broken link.

Sidisi brood tyrant is most likely tier 1 now. Probably the new best sultai commander.

Lilbrudder I've been using Voidia's SBT list, with a few changes minor changes (don't have grim tutor/imp seal and traded away flusterstorms like an idiot a few months ago, using personal tutor, dispel and autumn's veil. Might be some others but don't have the deck in front of me). Anyway, he hasn't decided what changes Hulk brings to the deck, but since you've been pretty happy about it I'm definitely interested in the changes you'd make.

The primer is written for prehulk but I am really happy with the list right now. I think voidia bases many of his choices on his particular meta, which accounts for some of our different choices but we agree on most things. Hulk is not something we agree on but I am usually quicker to hop on unproven things than him. If you are on the discord pm me and I can invite you to the SBT channel where me, voidia, and others discuss all things SBT.

Im glad leovold is banned now, and glad hulk is unbanned. Meren will have fun with that, same with jarad. Any commander with mass haste (samut anyone?) will also love hulk if it dies. Anyone know when the AKH commanders will be added? im assuming in about 2-3 weeks but im not totally sure

when are the amonkhet gods being added to the list? anyone build a good deck based on any of the gods?

Why is Derevi on tier 2? I'm not saying he should be bumped up, but I have never played against a Derevi deck that was beatable/didn't make me go home and cry.

Question: We have a player who plays Narset in our meta and has it tuned to quite a massive extent. (T2 narset is frequent)

Now, I built Tazri and I have no problem comboing out before he can "go off" but since my playgroup does these matches for money they like to play out for second for payout (the comboing player picks up and exits securing first leaving the game to be fought out) and I feel really bad about comboing out and leaving the table to his devices (he frequently takes 30+ minutes to kill the table).

Is there a competitive deck that I can play that stops narset without just singling him out and killing him?

Ohthenoises Nath stax could also be good. Or just stax in general. Making stuff cost more and hating out creatures will shutdown Narset pretty hard.

TheRealClyde If Derevi makes you cry you should play aginast Teferi, Temporal Archmage stax, GAAIV stax, or Brago, King Eternal stax these are all much more oppressive. Deveri is harder to cast and his ability breaks parity worse than the higher tier stax decks.

Teferi is able to function with a Stasis out and has an (practically) infinite combo with The Chain Veil

Brago abuses ETB effects like Rishadan Brigand in addition to the usual stax pieces this will lock opponents out.

Grand Arbiter Augustin IV taxes the FUCK out of everyone and counters everything until comboing off with something like Rest in Peace and Helm of Obedience
