thegigibeast so would Anointed Procession be a good addition?
July 18, 2017 12:39 p.m.
I was working on a Daxos the Returned deck list. I will try to get it finished up. Of course if other people would like to do it I would appreciate that.
I completely missed Auratog. That does have a nice interaction with Glistening Oil.
Something I agree with is running Enchantment Creatures. I included every Constellation effect that was any good. Grim Guardian is an example of what I found a good effect to be. It is important to note that Daxos' token creatures are in fact Enchantments as well and trigger the effect. I tried to include any of the good non Constellation Enchantment creatures as well, like Spirit of the Labyrinth.
I would include Anointed Procession. It doubles all of your tokens, doubles your Constellation effects, etc. I also had huge issues finding cards that really fit the theme and were worthwhile.

Does Grim Guardian mean you just win with Daxos + infinite mana?
interesting...

Underworld Coinsmith also seems good if you have the infinite mana plan down.

Ohthenoises Bomberman with Daxos sounds somewhat promising. Too bad he isn't an enchantment creature himself.

It is like a 4 card combo though. Bomberman (2 cards) + Daxos + Underworld Coinsmith/Grim Guardian. Even if one of the cards is your Commander.

On a side note Grim Guardian is a cool card for those who haven't looked into it before. It kills the table if it's on the board when you do Worldgorger Dragon combo for one thing. Just something to consider.

Ok everyone, I was thinkering about the Daxos the Returnedlist today and here is what I have come up with:
I think we are all stuck about the win condition needing to come from enchantments but... I mean we are not obligated to stick to enchantments!!! Like it has been mentionned before, Bomberman combo would be something pretty spicy IMO with this commander, since it can be an infinite mana sink at the very least (we only need one counter on him). I would stick to that idea, so the core of the deck would be having at least 1 experience counter, then infinite mana. No matter if the commander is still in play or no. We start by generating infinite white with Auriok Salvagers + Lion's Eye Diamond, then we go for infinite black, then infinite tokens. Simple. I know we have to wait an entire turn then to swing and win, but that would be a start.
To gather exp counters, I would add in the deck a suite of enchantments that would help fighting against top tier strategies. I am still looking to list them all, but for sure things like Rule of Law against storm, Leyline of the Void against any graveyard based strategy/Protean Hulk, Leyline of Sanctity against anything that can target you (Aetherflux Reservoir/Walking Ballista)... Many enchantments out there will help us hate on top tier decks, so we could play like a suite of stax enchantments, with all the support from white and black to tutor and draw and have good enchantments, I think it could be fairly potent.
I will work on a decklist form now and post it here again once I will be done to get comments/feedback, and compare with the other lists you guyz are working on.

Ok everyone! So I have brewed a little Daxos the Returnedcompetitve deck like I said in my last post, here it is:
Daxos the Terminator
Commander / EDH
1 VIEW
It is a little bit different from what I said at first, decided to drop the infect auras in favor of more hate towards higher tier decks, in case we might combat them. As it is, the deck still requires a lot of refining, but I think it is a solid base for upgrades. I would like to hear what you think about the list, help me out, and maybe elect it as the tier 3 official list here!
Tagging some people who discussed about the deck recently, please help me and comment on the deck to help optimize it:
Zenaku17, Ohthenoises, iAzire, and as always tagging the other admin of this list sonnet666 always like to hear your opinion m8 ;)

Through the past few nights I've been playing her and both of the cards tend to be a bit too slow. You need to be hyper-aggressive or your going to get blown out by combo decks, which neither card helps with.

Thanks!
I kinda thought as much. I just never count out any land that sacrifices itself for her deck. I swapped em in but in a few rounds of playing I haven't even seen them... if im not hurting to find em they probably aren't all that important huh?

Would you guys mind checking out my tasigur deck please? After playing with the deck in the list for a number of months, I've been working on this. I think it's faster, has more ways to win and the average cmc is very low for good ad nauseum. Let me know what you think.

I feel like The Scarab God is tier 2. He can be so good.

Ahahahahaha!
I know he is not that bad, but... do you have a list to prove or something XDarthRipperX?

Scarab god is missing a color tbh. He desperately wants green to have access to more nooze combos. Right now he is just extra turns .dec. his ability is very neat, but without hermit druid, spike, d druid etc he is left with few combos he is relevant in fetching. He fits into the t3 "will stomp noobs" section for sure

I feel like Borborygmos Enraged should be ranked a little higher, he has the ability to kill a crap ton of people and quite consistently too i might add. http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/borborygmos-destroyer-of-value-town/
Here is the current list I play, It is actually really competitive. The most people I have killed in 1 turn is 7 (everyone who was playing that game). In my personal opinion I think this deck should be at least tier 2. Check out the list and decide for yourselves.
July 19, 2017 9:02 p.m.
skyninja135 have you actually ever played against a tuned Zur or Jeleva deck?
July 19, 2017 10:03 p.m.
LTmiller: I think the statement was that the deck killed 7 people in one turn, not on turn 7.
skyninja135: the statement "at least tier 2" implies that you think it should be at a minimum tier 2 but more like 1.5 or even 1. I would recommend that you take a look at some of the linked decks for higher tiers and see what you're up against. most of these decks are designed to in a goldfish scenario finish the game on turn 3-5.
While your list may be stong in your playgroup, it lacks proper competitive pieces like Mana Vault, Mana Crypt, Taiga or a complete fetchland package. The deck is also missing a lot of early game ramp - the first few turns as crucial in competitive EDH games.
If you think that Borborygmos Enraged should be moved up in ranking, I would recommend putting together a no budget version of the deck - one that demostrates the maximum power that deck can achieve. This way there is an even playing field to compare it against other decks.

enpc hasnt this message been copied and pasted over 20 times in the past month? lol
I think we should just put this message in the description with special emphasis on it so that - ... Wait we already did

Athraithe: Generally signs are put up for people that don't read signs :P
Maybe it's worth putting something in the rules section about not posting budget restricted decklists. The problem is that it's generally the same tier 3 pubstomp style pseudo-competitive, pseudo budget lists that get posted but when your benchmark is never coming up against four figure decks, you may not equate the last paragraph in the FAQ to your deck. It may be worth making that a bit clearer. Just a thought.

I always carry my paper Zur list with me to the shop. When people think they have a powerful deck that should be ranked higher, I bring him out.
I don't even have what is the agreed Tier 1 deck. What is the agreed upon Tier ranking for Mana Denial Zur?
July 20, 2017 8:58 a.m.
enpc ah, apologies. Late nights make it hard to English.

@Ohthenoises
The curse version of the deck is not the approach I would take, and I think it would be far less powerful but still a funny version for casual play.
I will try to come up with a functionnal Daxos the Returnedlist for further improvements.
