I saw that needed a deck for Erayo, this was my list for duel, but changed it to fit the multiplayer banlist: What If Erayo Was Unbanned?

So weird rules interaction question. Say my opponent and I both have Lab Man on the field and empty libraries. My opponent plays Brainstorm and in response I Alms Collector. Who wins? Is it a tie? When the replacement effect resolves we both draw a card. Is there an ordering there?

merrowMania Kindred Discovery is unfortunately unplayable in competitive Azami. I can see plenty of casuals running it though. It's not terrible, but it's not great at 5 mana.

Honestly, I'll be quite happy with just one playable card for Azami cEDH. I don't have really high expectations for quality wizards, but I'm sure we'll get at least one.

HarroHunter, It can be a tie, or your opponent can win, but your opponent gets to choose the result, so they're probably going to choose to win.
616.1. If two or more replacement and/or prevention effects are attempting to modify the way an event affects an object or player, the affected objects controller (or its owner if it has no controller) or the affected player chooses one to apply, following the steps listed below. If two or more players have to make these choices at the same time, choices are made in APNAP order (see rule 101.4).
Since both replacement effects are trying to replace your opponent's card draw, your opponent gets to choose what order they're applied in. If they choose LabMan's effect to be applied first then Alms Collector doesn't do anything.

By the way, depending on how you build your deck, Summon the Tribe could be a new Tooth and Nail for creature based combos where both creatures are the same type.

Summon the Tribe is more like Genesis Wave for tribal than Tooth and Nail. The latter is used more for combo than for swarm.

Im curious about why Animar, soul of elements is not in tier one. also why do the tiers have decimals? are the generals in tier 1.5 only slightly not as good as the tier 1 generals?

Now that I won't get banned for mentioning them: - Tier 5, too slow.
- Tier 3, potential Stax build
- Tier 4, good efficient beater with Trample and good color identity. Otherwise, Tier 5. I think it will end up in 'upper' Tier 5. The exile clause it meaningless without giving haste. Even then, it is only okay due to the mana resources you would need to invest.
BEST token from this release:

HezTheGod, combo is exactly how I mean it. You find a 2 card creature combo where both creatures share a type, then you deliberately avoid putting creatures of that type in your deck, and either pick a commander that is also that type or put some general tribal stuff in like Adaptive Automaton to ensure you can get 2 of those creatures in play. Cast Summon once you do and win.

merrowMania I disagree about The Ur-Dragon his discount from the command zone makes him tier 3 or 4 just because 5 color dragon tribal is decently powerful in itself. All creatures costing 1 less from the start is very powerful for any tribal.
sonnet666 Yeah it definitly has combo potential but I think you'd have a hard time putting together a deck that can have the creatures on the feild AND in your library like that. I think its much more useful for elfball, Sliverball, or tribal swarm in general.

Are there even enough/any playable dragons? There's maybe Dragonlord Ojutai, Steel Hellkite, and Hellkite Tyrant, but how would putting three bulky, inefficient cards justify moving a whole tier or more?

It's not that Animar is bad, but he falls a little short in a few ways that put him at a disadvantage against higher tier decks.
Animar is heavily commander dependent and optimized lists don't run a lot of disruption, which means they don't have a lot of ways to stop other fast combo decks that manage to combo off first. The lack of counterspells is pretty detrimental in particular match-ups, such as against Hermit Druid decks that don't need to worry about graveyard removal from Animar beyond the possible Scavenging Ooze. Animar does have some decent tutor power, particularly when you can chain plays with Imperial Recruiter, but when you are aiming to combo off as fast as you can it's a bit of a kick in the pants to not have black for cards like Vampiric Tutor, Imperial Seal, and Demonic Tutor.
Animar lost a lot of consistency when EDH changed to the Vancouver Mulligan system, and the banning of Prophet of Kruphix was a significant blow to the deck. The printing of Toxic Deluge also hurt, because Animar wants to combo off on turn 3 or 4 (although it tends to average turn 5) and now any opponent playing black has access to cheap tutors AND a wrath effect that they can play on turn 3 without ramp. It's a bit of a struggle for Animar to get back into the game after it eats a wrath that early.
That being said, Animar does have a lot going for it. It can still be really fast, it's consistent with a lot of redundancy in its card pool, it usually isn't hit too hard by STAX (except for Torpor Orb and Trinisphere), and it isn't hampered by graveyard hate or cheap counterspells like Swan Song. So yeah, Animar is still really good but the meta has changed just enough that you can't quite call it tier 1 anymore.

merrowMania That's certainly an interesting card, but I'm looking for new Wizards I can actually play in Azami.
