Whats happen with Captain Sisay thanks to the rule change for Planeswalkers?

It's already been errata'd to say another. https://twitter.com/EliShffrn/status/902187390063714306

Yup, unfortunately it is not even remotely good now with the errata...
But I just want to draw your attention on another card, and a commander, that I think might be playable in cEDH from Ixalan:
I know, the CMC of 7 is not that much appeling, but I think this is on the same power level, if not better, than Prime Speaker Zegana. Even if it is one more mana to cast, not being , only one of each, makes it easier to cast. Also, it is more of a Regal Force, making it easier to go wide with all the manadorks in the deck (Llanowar Elvesand friends). With the Food Chain plan and all the dorks in it, i guess it could easily be tier 2.5, and replace Zegana as the simic chain deck. Thoughts?

kyuuri117 where? I've just bought a playset NM for under 50 euro after reading your comment. The price seems to rise but not THAT much...still better to buy now than later, thx for the reminder :)

Well looking at TCG now, Captain Sisayis out of stock, and the listed median is $54.99
Quite pricy for a card I bought for 5 bucks years ago ;)

Everything was up to $35 when I first looked around 3pm, found a Chinese copy for $13 on eBay and figured I might as well grab one. Checked again around the time of my post and they were getting close to 50

New Cards (now that I won't be banned for posting them this time):
- It's nice to have another option to stop YawgWin. It is an alternative to Graf Cage if you want GSZ, Chord, and Pod to work in your deck.
- Can go into Tana-Tymna Blood Pod or Derevi for creature heavy metas. It competes with the new Thalia though, so meh.
- T5 with T4 potential if mono-w stax works. None of the Vampire synergy is available in mono-w, though it is nice in Edgar stax. It sucks that you only get one vamp no matter how many you attack with.
- Torpor Dwarf is an alternative to Hushwing Gryff, though the lack of flash may put it in the same position as Leonin Arbiter vs. Aven Mindcensor.
- At three mana, it may have the combo potential and color that Conspiracy did not.
- Dominate #2 for Mizzix.
- Tier 1, since that's where legendary Merfolk go now. But more seriously, Tier 4, since the tax is not irrelevant, but may slide down to Tier 5 if a decent strategy cannot be thought of (I keep comparing it to Geist, where you can at least have a Polymorph plan).
- Seemed notable enough to mention. Does not ramp, but it's decent gravehate.
- We were correct: it costs 5. A LOT less powerful when it does not cost two. Too slow/unreliable (based on matchup) to see play, especially since it does not count commanders.
- Latest incarnation of Bob, nothing too notable since most decks would just prefer Bob
- Tier 4 at LEAST, maybe Tier 3, since it is red ramp. It could have a stax build that sacs the tokens like with the mono-w vamp.
- I REALLY want this to be a thing. I don't care if it's too much mana, SOMEONE SOMEWHERE NEEDS TO CAST THIS!!!
- If it was a 4-drop, it would likely see play, but since it only digs based on mana cost, storm will not run it (though it is funny with FoW).
- Budget Selvala card?
- ShaperSavant's Sanctuary is okay. Has the Leovold (technically Rayne) protection for LabMan combos, but beyond that, highly meta-dependent.
- Tier 3. There seem to be enough decent Pirates being printed and otherwise (Gravehate Pirate, Pirate Bob, Cloud Pirates) that the running of a bunch of Pirates will not destroy the deck.
- It's not a 6-drop, so Tier 4 at best. It itself is too clunky, as well as the dinos so far.
- As was discussed, it's getting an errata that kills the combo potential. I still like that it steals Crypt and Sol Ring pretty well. It's at least going into the Grixis Pirates deck.
- T2.5 at least. I certainly wasn't expecting it to cost more than Zegana, but it seems strictly better nonetheless, since you can more easily play it for value instead of JUST as a Food Chain outlet.
- I have seen and played Pithing Needle, so I am not averse to another option.
- Another fucking Jace....at least it has applications in decks that play Edric...

merrowMania: It is not an effective graph at all, so I would just ignore it. It's often inaccurate.

chaosumbreon87: Boros Reckoner requires you to have white mana in your deck. How are you supposed to Punch Bears if you have to splash white?

chaosumbreon87 Boros Reckoner requires you to play White. You can't Punch Bears that way, silly.

Hi. Since this list still needs a Rhys deck, I would like to submit my streamlined Rhys the Redeemed EDH for consideration.
To summarize, Rhys the Redeemed is the fastest general for pulling off the the Priest/Archdruid/Channeler + Staff/Mantle combo. Not only does he add to your elf count for just , he can produce as many additional elves as necessary. With 12+ of the best tutors, we almost always combo turn 4 or 5 (84% chance). We also have 13 pieces of stax (which can also be tutored) as an alternate plan, which fit very well with the combo's mana engine.
Also I could argue for Rhys being tier 2 or 2.5 since he's just better at achieving the same combo than the Selvala, Explorer Returned list. Though Selvala is certainly more flexible. I'll defer to your experience with rankings.

n0bunga I also thought that Kess works great with storm. I've made a similar build after getting the pre-order but I haven't really had a chance to test it yet:

I played one online game so far, won on t3 with double wheel and waste not...I think it's great that Kess can use stuff like Burning Inquiry without drawback while the randomness disrupts the opponents cheaply.

I never saw your list in this thread but only the reanimator, it must have been there since the release of c17 or even before. However I think the storm strategy is surely more suitable for the commander than just playing a random kiki-jiki combo that doesn't have anything to do with Kess.

Since we're behind on some edits, I will make a list for tiers 1-2.5:
Tier1:
Prossh, Skyraider of Kher needs moved down to tier 1.5 as discussed.
Kess, Dissident Mage needs the deck changed to represent storm or have both listed like SBT
Tier 1.5:
Animar, Soul of Elements is suspect to be moved to tier 2, as discussed here.
The Gitrog Monster needs moved to tier 1, as discussed here.
Sliver Overlord needs looked at and will likely move here.
Scion of the Ur-Dragon is suspect to be moved to tier 2, as discussed here.
Tier 2:
Atraxa, Praetors' Voice needs to be moved to tier 3 until an archtype and deck is accurately found for her, as discussed here.
Azami, Lady of Scrolls is suspect for tier 1.5, as discussed here.
Derevi, Empyrial Tactician the deck currently listed is wizardball, the previous stasis stax list was not being updated, both are viable options and both need listed like SBT.
Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord has not been updated in over a year, especially with things like protean hulk unbanning we need to find a new list.
Maelstrom Wanderer is suspect to mvoe to tier 2.5, as discussed here.
Momir Vig, Simic Visionary this list is in the process of being updated, it should be updated to a brostorm paradox/ dramatic sceptor list that can cast it's entire deck off Vizier of the Menagerie. Afterwords it needs reevaluated.
Marath, Will of the Wild I have seen some blood pod versions of this that are better than our current list, it probably needs updated.
Rashmi, Eternities Crafter suspect for tier 1.5 based on conversations on the discord, on par with tasigur and GAAIV for control decks.
Nekusar, the Mindrazer can run a grixis storm shell and be a wincon.
Tier 2.5:
Ghost Council of Orzhova While this lsit is good, I think we could find better, seen ones that can run the bomberman infinite with the commander and a mono black like storm deck in the same deck. Likely needs moved to tier 2.
Inalla, Archmage Ritualist needs moved up as soon as the Laboratory Maniacs finish their brew, we missed a lot with her.
Sedris, the Traitor King this list has not been updated in a long time. I wonder if a grixis storm build with unearthed labman would be better or if it just needs updated to stick with kiki reanimator and add nooze.
Varolz, the Scar-Striped has proven himself to be tier 2 and needs moved up.
Xira Arien her storm list by buildingdeck needs moved here or to tier 2.
Look for other outdated lists and decks suggested that could go here.
@thegigibeast I hope this helps.

I have 2 suggestions for tier edits that most people probably won't care about, but I think there's justification for the edits.
Arcanis the Omnipotent: I think he is a viable candidate for tier 2.5. I say this because his play style is very comparable to Azami's play style and they both usually win by grinding out card advantage and comboing off. Obviously, Arcanis is generally a turn slower than Azami because you can't tap him instantly, but I think he'd be a good fit in tier 2.5 because he outclasses much of tier 3 already.
Jhoira of the Ghitu: I think she should be moved down to tier 3. I really love her as a card, but she has the same problems that Kaalia has. You need to run a decent number of inefficient cards in Jhoira so you can actually abuse her and then on top of that you need to have them in hand and wait another 4 turns just to cast your card from suspend. Sure, there are ways of decreasing the amount of time your card spends in suspend, but then you have to find those cards too and it just becomes a waiting game that you can't win against most decks. You don't have enough card advantage to win the long game and you aren't fast enough to win a short game.
Anyways, I dunno if anyone else cares enough to have an opinion about these commanders. Just my thoughts on their placement.

So with the change of the legendary rule when Ixalan comes out, does it shake up any of the decks? Tribal Gideon EDH tier 1? lol!
For reference the rules change makes it so that the legend rule looks at the planeswalkers name instead. Meaning you can have both Gideon, Ally of Zendikar and Gideon of the Trials on the battlefield at the same time.
