chaosumbreon87 I mean, it' not really "too early". Siren Stormtamer is easily among the best 1 mana wizards for Azami. Also, it's not like amazing mono blue cEDH playable wizards are being printed all the time. It's unlikely there will be more great cards in the set for her. As for Edric, it can easily replace a worse 1 drop with evasion or another less viable card.

Archwizard, sorry to say but i havent focused intently on an archtype yet (but HT is growing on me) for cEDH. I dont have the luxory on pining on wizards or elves or whatever. What I look for in the set is testworthy cards, not definite add ins.

That being said, how was that trinisphere feeling?

Creating a cedh deck for kruphix was a bust on my end, i lost sight of where to go. Instead, ill be attempting an Emrakul deck for tier banned

Speaking of Yisan..I have a question I hope someone can give an answer too..i've been playing Yisan for about 8 months now...what exactly makes him tier 1.5?...in my experience hes more around tier 2 to 2.5... my meta has jeleva storm, sisay paradoxic engine stax, karador hulkweaver, Augustin Stax, FCT, Teferi,Azami control, and Selvala brostorm as the primary decks with daretti stax and bloodpod lists in the works and a few people who come in and out. Most games I feel the deck is either one turn too slow or doesn't have enough answers/interaction to deal with the board states properly. Is this just me? I think my meta, and the overarching meta as a whole, has pushed him down.

Blood Moon in a 3 color deck?! and you have 2 creatures that you can mayael. I dont understand your deck at all.

There is no point in playing Eureka that I had mentioned if you cant out pace your enemies. (they can play their hand too.) seeing as you have 2 creatures that are over 5/5 there is no way you could beat an aggro deck.

Komamura Isn't bloodpod a 4 color deck with bloodmoon?

bloodpod is a stax deck that has other cards slowing enemies down. the added use of Blood Moon is something the deck is based around. Having a single stax card in your deck that slows you down in a mayael deck isnt something I would play.

Assuming you mean me for the eureka mayael deck, The point to eureka is to cheat in the bigger creatures that I will not be able to cast on curve. (There should be no way that I live past turn 5 in cEDH). I dont need to get over 5/5 if savage can get through. Hell just dropping yisan and some elves gets me on curve for a par win. I'm about to create a boonweaver version since I think that might be easier to combo out.

I guarantee helping out all other decks (especially if they are fully tuned) wont be worth you playing some elves, a land or two and a small dragon.

Read the rules of the list before you post. That decklist is horrendous.

This list isn't about what you DO have in the deck. It's about what's the best what to build it budget-less and without restriction.

Playing tribal dragon won't even get a mention on this list.

Personally I don't feel The Ur-Dragon should even get mentioned here. Since he is just going to end up as some stax/combo with a general as a place holder, instead of being relevant to the deck.

Saying that the The Ur-Dragon shouldnt be mentioned due to your personal opinion is silly. Its tier 3 on the list.

Lorderos, I disagree with you, the deck is pretty solid, and the emminance ability of the ur dragon is understamated, i tried the deck 1v1 against a leviathan malestrom wonderer deck with a great and budgetless build, the surprise was I won 3 - 0, the list can become better and that what im working on, also i posted because the list was looking for a deck for that general, i wont post again if it bothers your list

On the UR DRAGON- the point is that there arent many dragons that can hit the board enough to warrant tier 3 status. Yes, it can win. However I do not think it can wipe the table efficiently enough as posted. But if you can make a budgetless list wed be more inclined to help

On to mayael- Not too many exceptional things. Mayael is plan C to tutor to get an infinite combo out. I'm going to see if boonweaver is the way to go since elfball cant get off the air fast enough for 3 colors. The eureka debate kinda falters since eureka should only be used really when you're about to combo out anyway. My main point is that I can drop my flier and in infinite combat outlet with some haste source for a kill. If a "puny" flier is the whole reason against it, then i'd advise you to look over to edric. Tons of small fliers and he is fine killing a table with them. If the argument is about my inclusion of blood moon, I care a lot more about red mana late game than green. If its then about card advantage to make up, then your arguing to move mayael down to tier 4, which is a different argument entirely.

ok to kruphix- I think FC might just be the way. HT is consistent but lacks the potency of other decks. I'm going to try out the build.

"Eureka should only be used really when you're about to combo out anyway." is completely false. You use it when you have enough advantage justifying you letting everyone else play their hand too. That means you need big ass creatures to make this card worth it. You arent going to have your combo in your hand every time you have this card in a Naya deck.

the creature Mayael doesnt tutor. at all. The top 5 cards out of 99 is really small.

edric is an entirely new deck with different colors. There is not a single similarity. Mayael is a deck made for large creatures, and if you dont play large creatures there is no reason to play her. Thats the whole point.

I don't understand what you are trying to say by moving her to tier 4. She does pub-stomp the casual meta and is inconsistent. Thats the description of tier 3.
