She doesn't pubstomp casual metas though. Hell, my casual trostani pubstomps harder. Mayael is like "timmy's first edh deck" in much the same way that (no offense Archwizard) Azami is "Johnny's first cEDH deck"

Ohthenoises I mean I get where you're coming from in that a lot of new cEDH players build Azami as their first combo general, but not many of them go to the point of making her as cEDH playable as I have. But to your point there are many better generals than Azami that people move onto after toying with a simpler general such as Azami.

fine, ill abandon the other idea. I think this is one is a lot more consistent and faster. Anticipating the arguement of "oh you only have 1 hit with mayael". my response to that is again: you dont have the time to go grab dead hits that dont win the game or dont do much. Therefore, I'm only going to use immediate helpful creatures (Avacyn over iona since id rather have indestructible)

chaosumbreon87 I already made a run at food chain Kruphix here. I kept just thinking why is this not Zegana. It runs fine as far as I can tell, but it's still tier 3 I think.

HarroHunter yeah i saw your list and stopped myself realizing where the draw power was going to come from. Guess for now ht will do since you can store mana for the ht turn.

I guess ill continue cranking out t3 decks until i think of a better hapatra deck. Its still misspelled too.

Ohthenoises , that depends entirely on how much is invested into the deck. There are plenty of Prossh decks that are terrible but he is a tier 1 general. Sure, there are alot of bad Mayael decks out there but saying its worse than a casual tristani deck isnt warranted. A fully tuned Mayael deck will pub stomp harder than other creature based decks, and if the entire board doesn't use its focus removal on mayael the game ends very early.

So since ramos stopped being talked about, ive picked up a copy and started nrainstprming. The two shells im bouning between are drop white storm, and drop red flash hulk rector, with a reanimator package. Which of those do you think I should go for in regards to submitting a list?

Were you planning on using the regrowth infinite loop?

Naya Charm + Reborn Hope + a flicker engine like Deadeye Navigator = infinite mana

This can be done with Ramos in play, loop it once, remove 5 make wwuubbrrgg, cast DEN, flicker Ramos, repeat. You can even Naya Charm the DEN out of your grave to get the charm in the grave.

BTW in the 2.5 Description there is no Taigam, Ojutai Master even though he is on the list.

Main goal is to get infinite extra turns, and win through combat damage. Other powerful effects include blowing up everyones permanents besides your own and if needed win through an effect like staff of nin. As i see it, emmy would be tier 3, but i also may not have an optimized decklist (although i think its pretty close). Please comment on the deck itself on the deck page and not here so we dont get clutter again (exclusions are the proctors of the page)

The best ramos shells i have seen have been food chain and storm. The food chain route uses mysthollow or scourge, but you can now convert this all into mana used for any spell type with ramos. Storm triggers ramos easily, and gives the mana to fuel it. I have not seen anyone run a flicker infinite mana build on him, but a general infinite mana build for him with 2-3 ways and outlets would be good. Probably fc, flicker, and dramatic sceptor.

Hello everyone! I was working on Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign and would quite like to receive some inputs! I will copy the post I made on reddit here (cuz I'm too lazy to write a new one). I think it is quite strong and deserved to be moved up in tiers, so I want you guyz to review my list if possible and help me improve it even more.

Hello fellow cEDHers! I just finished throwing up togheter a nice list I thought about a while ago. I saw some posts in the last days, looking for some new spicy brews, here it is my friends:

I would like to receive some help to improve the deck even more if possible, so don't be afraid to comment, suggest better cards/combos/replacements! No budget limit and want to tune this deck as possible to be as competitive as possible, possibly fighting against tier 2, even tier 1 decks!

This is my take on a commander that initially passed under the radar, Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign. At first look, he may seem really bad, only reducing the cost of sphinxes by two... Yes, there is the FoF effect, but... That is where I started thinking.With a critical mass of sphinxes and a lot of mana acceleration (the early days of my brew), I was able to start playing 3 to 4 sphinxes a turn by turn 5. I wanted to bring this to a all new level and this is when I found the nice interaction with Paradox Engine!

Since the cards already require more mana, I play quite some rocks. They will untap at every time I cast a sphinx, letting me FoF again, chaining sphinx after sphinx until my entire deck is in my hand. From there, winning from Laboratory Maniac simply is a formality. I also decided to go with the Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal backup. The idea is to generate an infinite amount of mana, cast your commander and start chaining sphinxes until the win described above can occurr.

Since a lot of sphinxes are really bad, I decided to replace a lot of them by clones. They can have two utilities. The first one is being able to get two triggers from my commander, so two FoF effects on a single cast (at the cost of sacrificing the clone). The second one would be my plan C win. The idea is that they can be used to copy Consecrated Sphinx to draw a huge amount of cards, possibly winning from drawing your entire deck as described above. Also, they can be used to copy other people stuff if necessary. The best ones in my opinion are Phyrexian Metamorph and Clever Impersonator, since they can copy not only creatures, but also ramp or other win conditions from someone else.

If everything else fails, we still have access to plan D... Beating with sphinxes. I mean, most of them have at least 4 power, and flying, which means we can actually threaten an AdNaus deck...From playtesting, I can goldfish turn 5 wins quite often. Not the consistency I would like to have, but still is something. That is the reason I posted this here though. I would like some help on this brew, making it faster and more consistent. I know this is not tier 1 material, but I feel like this as a lot of potential, so I would like to push it as far as it can go. If you like the idea, feel free to suggest anything, as I have no budget limit and want to make this as strong as it can be.
