The Chainer's tier need a solid review.- maybe tier 1.5 or 2

That commander is good for combos (before turn 4 - as some others monoblack commanders) and long games (reanimating creatures for any graveyard - acting as a toolbox). The correct build create a good full combo deck more resilient than glass canon commanders - A good build for early buried combo and explore useful aspects for grave reanimations in long games.

as they are, I would say tier 4. If you would like a regrade, I would copy over the deck and go for a budgetless build. The mana cost and ramp is slightly lacking IMO for both decks. Also, it may just be me, but outside of combat you dont seem to have any ways to win (combat kinda already drops it to around tier 3 unless you can quickly and consistently wipe the table by turn 5-6) After I finish my challenge deck that a friend gave me, i'll see if I can spin horde (you kinda gave me an idea with that list)

I will submit my competitive deck for The Ur-Dragon as it looks like you need one. The Ur-Dragon Initiative. I have been working on this deck for a while and have been trying to make it as competitive as I can. I am also trying to get a Mana Crypt and Carpet of Flowers to increase the speed of it dramatically. Also thinking of doing the Worldgorger Dragon combo. Anyway let me know what you guys think and maybe we can move The Ur-Dragon out of tier 3 and at least tier 2. I think he is better than what a lot of people think.

Derpsofdoom remake your deck without a budget as optimal as possible, if you leave out cards due to budget restrictions it automatically means it is suboptimal, something that is not really needed here.

I have played the said deck before and it is a one trick pony that if someone deals with one card( Thrumming Stone ) in your deck it flops. You have yawgmoth's will which will help but its still very fragile.

That being said its fun to win with the apostles.

I changed my Athreos, God of Passage deck into a life loss deck such as kokusho and tree of perdition, making his 3 damage more relevant.

@LTmiller I saw that deck and a few other shadowborn storm decks for Athreos, I have been working on him some in the past week, I feel like about 90-93 cards are there in them, but the last few arn't quite right. I will post something once I finish it up.

my answer to that Kushala is that there's not enough information as of right now to give you a yes or no on that. besides tishana's enormous cmc, I dont see any initial problems that might come out of it.

to my knowledge that duel commander list would not work for this tier ranking system only due to the format differences. I'm still trying to work out the idea in my head but I think the best thing for multiplayer is to get infinite combos going with nim deathmantle. Correct me if i'm wrong as needed.

at that point i'd just create a copy, make the switches and just link both decks via the description

Also, Tishana, Voice of Thunder I think would make a better commander for Simic Food Chaindecks than Prime Speaker Zegana, for her easier cost (single blue can be huge) and her ability that allows to go wide instead of going tall, being less affected by spot removal (wipes can still affect us, but are less played in cEDH).

She can play a lot of dorks, so getting her out on turn 3/4 would be pretty common, given that and all the good mana rocks. If we can land a Food Chain combo by that turn, it should be game. We will need to adapt a decklist, but I think she has more potential than Zegana.

thegigibeast I left a tishana FC deck that went fairly well recieved on this page and averaged a turn 5 kill. Im not sure if it truly is better solely because I think the zegana list we have is fairly dated and running a bit of suboptimal cards. if you want i can relink it for review
