I don't know if that Edgar list is as effective as it would be in 1v1. I still feel like he could fuel a stax list very well with tokens for Contamination, access to Blood Moon, and then the usual stax effects of trinisphere, amethyst, etc.

Does anyone know of any good blue and green cards to get Food Chain into my hand from my deck? Or colorless. I know about Long-Term Plans and Muddle the Mixture

Maybe combining greens creature search with blues transmute I can grab food chain fast. Im building a Prime Speaker Zegana deck and I need more tutors.

Drift of phantasms is literally the best tutor imo for the simic fc deck. Creatures are tutorable and it shifts nicely into fc or eternal scourge so you can win off either route. Also i would focus on more infinite green mana sources since fc still gives infinite commander casts

What other infinite green combos can give me infinite mana? My play group is doing tier 2 and lower commanders for the next commander league so I cant use Prossh.

Zenaku17 you might need to select only the strictly best/cEDH playables but this is something I look at when trying for infinite combos. Its probably missing some outlets cause it hasnt been updated in ages but it should give you some ideas

Why is narset in tier 2?? In my opinion she is the most powerful general or at least one of the three or so most powerful ones. I say that without any bias as i usually play prossh and is a strong commander and i have never play narset but i have played against her and i think is better than prossh. Too strong with taking turn effects and all kinds of blue broken spells. Apart from that the list is quite accurate.

The problem is that shes been too hurt by the mulligan change for consistency to power her out. I would say there are a bunch of other threats that id consider before narset (sidisi UV, gitrog, kess, thrasios for some)

If you ever have any thoughts regarding a commander's placement, browse through the archive of comments. I guarantee there's been talk regarding the most popular ones. As for Narset herself, her viability dropped a ton when we swapped over to Vancouver Mulligan. One of the deck's weaknesses is that you need to add tons of high-costed spells that you want to cheat in so that you hit the critical mass needed to rip them off the top without too much effort. Thhe downside is that you often end up with expensive cards in hand that you can't use. Narset is also dependent on getting her out and through combat. None of those things are guaranteed in the slightest. To add to her struggles, Narset is also vulnerable to disruption and stax effects. Finally, the deck can't afford to run too many reactive cards. This all makes her clunky as all hell vs the very best decks in the format. Still, she's annoying to play against at shop levels, which has lead her to develop a reputation as one of the strongest generals (which is perhaps justified at more casual levels).
My friend used to run a fully decked out Narset build but had to drop it when he just kept losing at our group. He just wasn't used to the type of games that take place at high level tables. he particularly struggled against the Derevi/Nath stax builds that one dude in our group ran.

Got a Narset player in my group who can only win when his buddy and he collude pregame to tagteam the match who's on the "counter everything anyone but the narset player plays" plan.

Wouldnt I want to concentrate on combos that get food chain out and then combo off with food chain? I feel it would be more beneficial for me to go that route just like with Prossh the goal is food chain infinite creature mana and tokens and then a enchantment or creature with a effect to kill everyone.

Not only with Food Chain and Prime Speaker Zegana and Laboratory Maniac I can milk myself and win. Or another route I can use Food Chain with Altar of the Brood and sphinx's tutalage with a infinite sac outlet to mill my opponents.

I've had a Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder Hypergenesis deck for a long time and it performs but not tier 1. what other yidris decks make him tier 1

Yidris heads a 4-color storm deck. Think Grixis Storm with some of Green's finest.

Zenaku17 a route I want to test with zegana, if you want to collaborate, is garruk's packleader instead of altar and tutalage (packleader is more tutorable in those colors). but I can see either of those as a win con.

Ohthenoises : I had the first Narset deck on tapped out and I've played alot of games with it. The biggest flaw with that deck is that it draws too much attention. Everyone knows what happens if people let narset come in so it gets focused. There are times when you can weather the storm or get lucky with a god hand but its hard to deal with 3 people trying to kill you. Especially when you have to stop people from going off yourself.
I run a decent amount of counters to keep myself in the game and hopefully land destruction before people get going. once that happens its pretty hard to stop. (obviously)

food chain seems to be the route for tish, but could an elfball build also work for her or is that too cute?
September 22, 2017 10:05 a.m.
I decided not to do zegana for the lack of tutors. Instead Im going to do Reyhan, Last of the Abzan and Kraum, Ludevic's Opus I can break it with food chain and tutor for it very easily.
September 22, 2017 10:24 a.m.
personally i think tish should be elfball with some sac outlet and paradox engine. With blue's access to counters and instant/sorcery tutoring, plus green's ability to ramp, elfball makes an insane amount of creatures and blue protects your combo pieces (such as maybe using food chain for infinite draw off tish, or ashnod's altar, etc). But this is also an early morning comment so i may be way off

Im still curious as to where Gishath, Sun's Avatar will be located. He seems pubstomp like Omnom the Mad, but i also see potential combo capabilities with etb effects and extra combat steps. White has tutors galore for artifacts and enchants so setting up a SoFF and Aggravated assault combo shouldnt take too long, the main problem is getting him OUT with his high cmc. Im guessing tier 3

id say gishath's at tier 3 due to the attack clause, and the lack of multitude of great dinos. i'd still say samut is much better for the soff AA combo.
I still refuse to comment on tishana until I get relevant feedback on the linked deck other than yeah, seems dec (paraphrased). ill try rebuilding zeg when im not bogged by tests (and studying more for the l1 test im not going to take yet.

Lannery i dont expect above tier 4, mainly due to the lack of first strike or any token doublers (which are all in green and white). Making a single treasure on attack isnt that great, and it doesnt even apply to all creatures, just her, which means best case scenario is a 3/2 during damage. Now that i think about it, tier 5 is probably better since flip chandra is better than her. As for the tap vampire, sure its only during your turn but at least its repeatable. Im thinking tier 4 since itll be a dedicated lifegain deck, and you need to untap her to do it again, and lifegain decks dont do too well without an infinite cast into aetherflux

Here's my Nin list (with primer):
http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/nin-competitive-primer-1/
I believe this fits in tier 1.5 rather than tier 2, based on the other commanders you have in each of those sections.
September 26, 2017 10:27 a.m.
Could we make a separate tier for commanders printed this year? I feel like it would be helpful to have a shortcut to the newest generals and decklists. On a second note, why would tapped out delete my decklists? I was going to post my karn list for possible placement on here but it's no longer saved under my account
