At the moment I am working on a rework of the list with LabManiac_Dan and LabManiac_Sigi to make the list easier to read, understand and use. Most of my time now is on working on that new list that we will port here once finished, so stay tuned for awesome changes and a lot of new features!

Definitely! They asked me if I was open to some changes and I accepted without a doubt!
To give a quick idea, the new list will have a different commander ranking system, some improved discussion support, and a better description to include archetypes. The update will be applied here once we are satisfied with our work. Stay tuned and dont be afraid to keep the discussion going!

Having more discussion around archetypes is a good idea, since the information would be beneficial to people trying to learn the strategies that separate cEDH builds from the pub-stomp versions that people are probably more familiar with.
Speculating on the discussions that you are possibly having with LabManiac_Dan and LabManiac_Sigi to determine tier rankings, it would be neat if sometime in the future a pros/cons comparative list could be developed for decks that utilize particular combos or strategies. For example: General Tazri and Sidisi, Brood Tyrant are both known for running Food Chain, so a stats list with brief pros/cons comparisons between them and other decks that use Food Chain in regards to what the commanders offer, speed, amount of interaction, resilience, alternate win-cons that each deck runs, etc. would be a convenient resource to have on hand to compliment the tier list. I know this list already takes up a significant amount of your time to maintain as it is, but I just wanted to throw the idea out there. It might make for an interesting series of Lab Maniacs discussion videos if they are looking for more video content ideas.

That would be neat, could be a pretty nice thing, I will bring the point to the LabManiacs in our discussion later tonight.

Athraithe - Heat Shimmer/Twinflame, Dualcaster Mage, and Phyrexian Altar is the only one I can think of at the moment.

I was just thinking that if we could make an infinite mana combo in mono red that maybe one of the tier 5 commanders could move up to 4. Kumano, Master Yamabushi. In theory, with this guy, you could go infinite by turn 4-5. He can hit players and doesnt require haste

Yeah, I guess when you put it like that then Kumano is about as good as Bosh. Tier 4 seems fine.

Hello everyone!! I am submitting my Sigarda, Host of Herons deck with a great pride and excitement! After about three years of hard work and lots of playtesting, I think I reached the point where it has become as much optimized as possible, with every fetchland available and the necessary answers to my meta. There is a more extensive description on the link itself. Enjoy and thank you for your time!! It would be an absolute honor and indescribable joy if my deck was to be included in the tier list!! tappedout.net/mtg-decks/rewarded-devotion-1/

n0bunga I'm glad you like it! Thank you for your words :) Does the link work for you btw? Because it seems to me that it doesn't open the deck.

So here is a proper link for the Sigarda, Host of Herons that I submit for Tier 3. Many thanks to n0bunga for the help :)

I would like to submit a decklist for Inalla. With it I have made a few turn 3 wins and I feel like it has a good chance at being a worth representation of what inalla can do. How do i go about submiting it to you guys?

Edric, Spymaster of Trest is Tier 1.5, I've looked at the list provided, I'm curious, what is the Win Con?
How does he typically try to win games? I'm looking to build a deck for alternate play, but I'm having trouble coming up with Win Cons for him.
October 6, 2017 2:45 p.m.
Edric doesn't really have a singular win condition the way other decks do. The goal is to establish a board presence quickly, draw a ton of cards, and eventually chain your extra turn spells together to kill on one of those extra turns. It runs a few stax pieces like Null Rod for tempo, and a lot of counterspells to protect himself. While Edric is in play, he naturally encourages other players to attack eachother instead of you since drawing a card is pretty good, so their life totals should usually be going down much faster than normal unless you're in a pod that is very creature light.

I'm having issues seeing how that is Tier 1.5 material. Relying on others is typically a bad strategy isn't it?
How is he going to compete with Solitare decks?

I had a great talk on DIscord the other day with Chemtails (the labmaniac who provided the Edric list you saw that is linked here) and it was really helpful to help me understand how the deck wins.
Usually, you can kill with beats through extra turns, but a nice way to do so is one of the best spells in the deck, Notorious Throng, coupled with spells like Regrowth to get it back again and again, always providing with more and more faeri tokens, making it quite easy to deal enough damage through the extra turns.
Also, to be able to get to enough damage, you run a lot of cheap counterspells, to help control all the early game play that might hurt you, as well as boardwipes. For more info, you can PM me and I can show you some parts of the conversation we had.

I dont thnk we should have a separate tier list for the new generals but i DO think it would be a nice addition to have a small bulleted list of new generals from the year so new players know whats new. Obviously we wouldnt have it made here, we would have a separate link (linked in the description) you could click on that would being you to a page with "new generals, tier placement, signature 'new' cards", etc. I know it wouldve helped me for sure when i first started here, but its community choice (and ultimately the page creators) if theyd be willing to let something like that happen and be accessible from the description
