The largest question I have for the combine mechanic is the English name. Is it together into one name or does it have two separate names.

From what I understood, you combine the names, so for example it would become Abyssal Persecutor Platinum Angel. It would play around the legendary rule, so by combining two legendaries, you create a completely new one.

Did you guys see the Rivals of Ixalan spoiler??? Its 2UR legandary enchantment, that when you have 5 or more artifacts, flips into Tolarian Academy. You also make treasures when one or more creatures do combat damage to a player but thats irrelevant.

So freaking mad they stuck a red mana symbol in the casting cost for no reason. Such a kick in the nuts for Teferi.

Tetzimoc is a new Ixalan legend. Given that it needs to be in hand to give the counter, it is utterly unplayable as a commander. Tier 5.

I kind of agree with the "lowly tier 4" statement about voldaren. She seems almost on par with the other olivia, maybe they should both be tier 3. Ill try to brew a deck for her

Xenagos might need to be moved higher... Xenagos plus a beater into 2nd main phase Rishkar's Expertise playing Chandra's Ignition is game over for your toughest opponent and half life lost for everyone else...

trorax, you cast Zenagos on T4-5, then your beater the turn after and Rishkar's expertise into free Chandra's Ignition either the following turn or the same turn later game. Indestructable Enchantments don't get removed often, and a well built deck has contingencies solidly covered. My own Xenagos deck has moved from decent to competitive in the last 5 sets due to new toys.

Xenagos is well placed in tier 3. He can crush casual playgroups if built well and is completely irrelevant in more competitive pods no matter how you build him.

I think Kumano, Master Yamabushi should move from tier 5 to tier 4 (maybe even the lower end of tier3, but I'm not a good judge for that). He may not seem like much, but there are enough cards that double damage to turn him into a machine-gun and making big mana is something mono-red can handle without too much trouble. I realised his power when building a deck around him (didn't actually get to play it against my meta yet). I believe a deck with him at the helm definitely became a lot stronger with Hour of Devastation and the printing of Neheb, the Eternal.

The thing with commanders like Neheb, the Eternal is that they can easily make huge amounts of mana, but then you need the right card to pump that mana into for it to be effective, for this reason I think a manasink commander like kumano (who can shoot creatures and players) deserves to move up at least one tier (tier4 is still low ofc, Neheb is in tier3 it seems).

At the moment I have a list with cards I own, that I can share if needed, and I'm working on a more optimised list (without budget restriction + with cards I don't own) that will obviously be even stronger.

why is niv-mizzet a tier above the locust god? seems to me that the locust god is better in almost ever way.

I am surprised that Alesha, Who Smiles at Death is in a higher tier than Kaalia of the Vast. I don't have a problem with that but I have been told before that Kaalia is better than Alesha. I'm more interested in playing Alesha than Kaalia, honestly. I'm just wondering what the case is for this situation if Kaalia is "better" than Alesha.
