- Giant flying death raptor with terribly art soars into Tier 5.

merrowMania i would argue tier 4, mono white has enough removal and stax pieces that this dino could go voltron/stax and win through commander damage, especially due to doublestrike/trample and not needing to tap after attacks, pairing nicely when you can only untap 2 permanents a turn. Only arguing for tier 4 though.

- Interesting enough effects, but the death trigger hurts it as a commander. Tier 4.

I feel she is strictly a combo piece, but I feel she could push tier three in a reanimator/devotion shell for the colors.

merrowMania yes the white dino is an 8 drop, but its also mostly colorless. Castable by turn 2/3 with a lightning greaves/swiftfoot boots attachable. Seems decent for tier 4, certainly a viable piece for a beatdown strategy. I just dont think tier "useless" is a valid place for it. Also i could see tier 3 with the new vamp, but it would take a seriously powerful build. Im terrible at white/black, so someone else will have to build it

Elenda, the Dusk Rose might be able to work her way up to Tier 3. She could probably do some silly things with cards like Hero's Blade, Blade of the Bloodchief, and Ashnod's Altar out. W/B has a lot of tutor power when you are working with equipment.

Will try to beat merrowMania here ;)
- The low cost could make this abusable somewhere, but needing to have ascend AND tapping make it difficult... I feel even with those conditions activated, it would compete against LabManiac for a slot for what it does...
- One sided pseudo wheel for 3... Could be useful? Can also be used to screw only one oponent if you don't want others to draw new cards, which can be something. You could also remove it to get back what you had in hands, I feel this can have some potential.
- Since it can be tutored with Captain Sisay, the ult might be useful... Else I could see it being tested in WG Selvala maybe.
- Maybe only me, but I really like this card! I could see a brew with extra combat steps (similar to Narset, but combat steps instead of turns), and repeatable ones like Aggravated Assault, to get the most out of it. I am not sure if it would be competitive enough, but I could see it work as kind of a mono-red storm/combat steps. I will for sure brew this one. For now I would say tier 3, but I could see it jumb from .5 or even 1 tier with a solid build.

Gigi, you bastard! <3
- Could be used in Edric to push an important spell.
- Good for Purphoros, maybe?
- Could be useful in token and/or graveyard strategies such as Blood Pod.

Maybe Induced Amnesia could become a new wincon in Brago? I mean, it would be a lot less dead than the Rishadan guyz, and would still achieve the same thing... Blink to infinity -> exile everyones deck and kill them from drawing their entire deck. Plays around the eldrazi titans because it exiles. I mean, it is a lot less dead because if you do not have your combo assembled and you have this in hand, you can simply cast it and refresh your hand, helping you dig for combo. Simply brainstorming right now, but does this seem a plausible idea?

On the subject of red legends and extra combat steps, I vote Captain Lannery Storm winds up in Tier 4. Mono-red is a bad color identity in the first place and her triggered ability isn't good enough to make up for it: "Treasure matters" isn't a thing and Neheb, the Eternal does a much better job of attacking to generate mana.

I still vote lanery into tier 5. No evasive protection (menace, first strike, indes), worthless protection (not even a toughness buff), and mana ramp that doesnt really help since 1. Youre using it to make her stronger right away and 2. generating 1 extra mana a turn on attack? seems like youll be using that to recast her soon enough if you didnt buff her... Even the thalias are leagues better as they have first strike, and theyre mono white!

Can someone tell me the power of Edric? I dont see how he can win the game turn 3-4 and he isnt really a stax commander.

- An offensive Silence variant with lore implications.
- More colorless gravehate, but has protection upside/downside/sideside like Ground Seal.

Edric is a tempo commander that never literally wins on turns 3-4. He chains and recurs extra turn spells, particularly Notorious Throng, to actually close out games. He runs ramp, countermagic/disruption, and cheap evasive creatures that offset the card disadvantage of the large interaction package as well as to draw into it.
Look here for an example deck.

- Finally, a six drop you can cast and pass without fear of losing! Easily Tier 3, could go higher with the right build.
- Most efficient one yet!

Question about nezahal, primal tide. The blue Dino... His discard 3 cards ability, will that put him into play from the command zone? Or because it says "return" you have to return him from the yard? Or does it mean you can return him to play from anywhere like exile? Or do you have to return him the turn he left and changed zones? I feel like its missing a lil detail in that ability or is it just that amazing that wherever it is you can put him into play by discarding 3 cards. Because if so as soo as you start the game, discard 3 cards bam! 7/7
January 4, 2018 4:16 a.m.
griffstick of course you cant, his exile ability only works starting on the field

Athraithe Ok I agree with that but it also doesn't specify where you return him from so technically you can return him to the battlefield from any zone right? Weather it be exile or your hand or the command zone etc etc

I definitely like ghalta in Multani, Maro-Sorcerer deck. In a 4 or 3 player game you can cast both for And
