Oh god. Does Azor's Gateway have the interaction with Mairsil, the Pretender I think it does? If it does it's entirely possible for him to go up a tier

Very fair descriptor. Upside to flying under the radar is that it works well if you're not in a regular play group and just pop into random commander nights at the local shop (like I do) because you can always catch the really competitive deck owners off guard. Downside is once people figure out what you want your deck to do - you lose the element of surprise and they'll pin you down XD haha.

I offer my Opal-Eye: Konda's Yojimbo deck as tribute :) Would love any advice if folks feel so generous - I feel it does a good job of negating the whole "mono white sucks" reputation and can easily lock out some decks who should stomp it.

Yes, but the decks seems to be ranked how well they can be build around the commander :) You could have an incredible OP deck with a bad commander :)

wraya2 youre missing almost all of the staples for cedh, and a lot of just bad cards. This list is for budgetless decks, so i suggest copying the deck and making a budgetless version to submit here

@Entrei I'm not positive as to the interaction you're referring to, but if you mean having Mairsil use the Azor's Gateway ability to exile more cards for Mairsil then I'm afraid it won't work. The Gateway's ability doesn't put cage counters on the exiled cards, which Mairsil needs to use their abilities. Is that the interaction you were talking about, or is there a combo that you are referencing?

I'm referencing using his ability to use the other side of gateway/using it for untap stuff. Not entirely sure of how zone changes work with flip cards and the properties they have

Ah, gotcha. Unfortunately, Mairsil won't be able to use the ability on the transformed side of Azor's Gateway. When a card's ability references the card itself by name, like Azor's Gateway does, the name is being used as a self-indicator such as how people use "I" or "me" in a sentence. So when Mairsil copies the ability, the part that refers to transforming Azor's Gateway would actually refer to Mairsil, not the Gateway in the exile zone. Mairsil using the ability would not cause the Gateway in the exile zone to transform, and because Mairsil is not a double-sided card he won't transform either. The "Transform" part of the ability would end up not doing anything.

I would like to have some feedback on a Samut Stax/kiki list I've been playing for few months now.I've been testing it out at different LGS and its sitting where I like.

It is a bit different than the list proposed by Nakhla but I feel like the light stax pieces in the deck gives more chance facing other peoples interaction. Slows down a lot of opponents and makes you set up your gameplan much easily.

Any suggestion to make it better would be appreciated.

I would like to submit my Tishana, Voice of Thunder deck, Tishana, top of the Food chain it aims to combo win with a cast from exile creature and food chain. I believe she is tier 2-2.5 and definitely not tier 3. She is strictly better than Prime Speaker Zegana

Ive been looking at Zada,hedron grinder storm and felt it could use green for acelleration do you think Wort, the raidmother could pilot a similar list?

sonnet666 hey yea no worries, thought it was probably something like that. It's not really a big deal, but just figured if it was a quick fix might as well have him moved.

Also, I put together a doomsday list for UB Taigam as I really like his abilities and we didn't have one. I think it should be considered for higher than T3. Critique on the list would be appreciated, please see below.

Is Grimlock, Dinobot Leader  ^Flip not considered a commander at all?

I decided to try my hand at making a competitive Horde of Notions deck, and I believe it could potentially be moved up a half step.

I had recently discovered the Hermit Druid combo is actually pretty good in the deck (there are a few elementals that sac themselves for damage like Magmaw and Blazing Hellhound) and then midway through building the deck, it had the same initial combo as in the Scion of the Ur-Dragon deck featured. I then based it off the shell of that deck and created a deck that I believe is a great way to use Horde of Notions.

Here's the deck, the name is kind of a working title but that doesn't matter too much:

One of the downsides of the deck is that it's a one-trick pony, so once people know what the deck does, they know how to stop the main combo.

ennuii He is a promotional card from Unstable. Whetever or not Unstable cards will be legal in commander will depend on the decision made on the 15th of January with the updated banned list for commander being released. So no, he is not really considered a commander, since he isn't technically in any set printed. But if he would be put in a tier it would propably be in tier insanity like the rest of the un-set commanders.

But no restrictions can stop the power of your playgroup, i know one in my LGS who has an optimus prime and wants to build this EDH deck, and we know he does not want to make a deck that makes the game non enjoyable so everyone is allowed to play and build any deck they want as long as everyones is okay with it :)

Odysseus_97 He's technically not from Unstable, but he is included under the blanket of silver-bordered cards.

He is also "technically legal" at the moment. I mean Frankie Peanuts and Richard Garfield, Ph.D. are on there. He should at least me linked on the list. He is king afterall.

Also, Ulrich is the only double-faced commander that is not foil.

I really think Saffi Eriksdotter is around Tier 2. I have been playing her for some time and it has the potential to beat Tier 1 and 2 decks. It can combo off on turn 2, and it regularly combos off on turn 3 and 4. It can have a lot of interactive games because of the amount of combo's in the deck. I won't say it's better than Captain Sisay, but certainly better than Tier 3!

Anyone have a Gisela, Blade of Goldnight list thats the competitive one. I just want the best gisela list possible
