Voltron is literally hands down the worst strategy for cEDH. Especially when its 6 mana and does nothing useful (think Gishath without the main ability)

Is this updated for dominaria and Battlebond? I don't see any of the legendaries from any of those sets.

the list hasn't been updated in quite some time they should let more people in on it so it can be updated.

@generalrenard, Casual_gamer_John - Unfortunately, the users with editing power have been busy with life, so Dominaria and Battlebond have not been added.
@DruneGrey - Voltron is a weak strategy in cEDH due to the need to attack at a bare minimum 3 times to win. This is extremely slow to do. On top of that, as Palladia-Mors is a 6-drop, you are hindered even more. She offers minimal protection to get you to the win and trample is basically the only thing she brings toward a voltron gameplan. Only commanders that lend themselves heavily to voltron have been viable, but moreso due to their specific design to enable it than the viability of the strategy (think Uril, the Miststalker or Bruna, Light of Alabaster). I am personally very skeptical of her ability as a voltron commander to get her out of Tier 5 due to the conditional hexproof. It stops investments (auras or mana for equip costs) from being worthwhile.
- Tier 4. Decent control finisher
- Tier 4. Reanimation is powerful, but paying full price defeats the purpose.

- Tier 4. The cost reduction is actually decent/good. Don't know what ot do with it, but it has potential.

But does he have the right to bear arms like Werebear(*Odyssey version) ?

- Tier 3-4. Makes all your artifacts cantrip for 2 mana each. Probably a Paradox Engine build that abuses things like Ichor Wellspring, Servo Schematic, and Mana Severance exists for it to make it to T3.
- Tier 4. It can make a sizable number of tokens, so it is not utter garbage.
- Tier 4. Another Paradox Engine build, probably around Wall of Mulch.

How is Arcades a tier 4 when Doran is a Tier 3 and Arcades is clearly a better Doran
June 21, 2018 4:26 p.m.
@MaxProssh explain your thoughts on why it is better and back it up with some proof perhaps regardless of the non-existent tiers?
I can't see a single point where this new card is remotely better because a good Doran doesn't even play walls in the first place and can just go "BUG good stuff" while this is forced to play walls, Hehe so no point in comparing them...
In 1v1 Doran already has a great control shell (ranked on mtgotop8 even) with good stuff but not that it matters here, Arca will never be played in 1v1 when you can have Doran... and both decks go for janky stuff in multiplayer anyway so, in the end, I think both are non-factor for multiplayer anyway.

Kiyomei - Abzan has a great color set for a midrange-control type shell, that's true. However I wouldn't underestimate Bant. You have great flicker tools and recursion for those, you also have 2 worse Priest of Titania-esque creatures in the form of Axebane Guardian and Overgrown Battlement. Maybe it's possible to build sort of a 75% Derevi with all the untap shenanigans he has and realise those with flicker?

I mistyped that I meant Abzan but it was late so w/e...
but attacking with defenders is as stupid as it gets and I feel like "tier" wise or like I'd rather see it power wise they are great where they are at currently ( "Fun casual stuff")...
also at no point do I consider a Doran with walls in it good, which is forced upon you with this janky bant dragon and it might have some paradox interactions or whatever but yeah. again the point was, it doesn't matter where they are at just that one is obviously better than the other in 1v1 at the moment which doesn't help for this opinion list at all hehe...
Just found that the comment I replied to was rather biased and totally not thought through and plain stupid.
On the other hand to recall to my post that was abruptly archived so I will repeat it here again...
I'de like to apply my Derevi as I have playtested the current iteration of the deck that is on this "tier list" many many times in a competitive pod online and in paper and feel far more useless when I'm on the "wizard deck" compared to my own version. I am pretty convinced with my primer for certain meta (+ "sideboard" for meta picks not an actual "sideboard" read the primer) I get far better results than this version on here all the time, I don't mean to kick the current iteration of its spot but I'd like to share my view that I built up with mtgotop8 and whatnot back in the time when she was not banned in 1v1 and kept tuning it after the ban for multiplayer as it had many of the same stuff you find in Derevi's out there now...
Perhaps you can add it as a second option if that is possible next to the wizards version or something which can widen the options you can choose from, but if that is not the case then I'll just try and promote it more elsewhere as it has given me many first places in FNM around Belgium and also shown very good results in 2HG which is also Multiplayer in a form... with experience from back when she was released...
Also, suggestions and thoughts are welcome if you happen to have meta tech you'd like to share as I try to keep it as updated as possible since i joined tapped out... gladly most of the primer was already done before i joined but i like that it will forever evolve with the current meta and can opt in and out of specific hate quiete easily!!!

as soon as people stop complaining about the list not being updated... and as soon as people actually decide to read the thread...

Ok going to bring up the whole sideboard thing since none of you seem to know what you're talking about.
You do not get a sideboard in edh. HOWEVER. If you are playing WISH cards, like Burning Wish or Living Wish in your deck, you need 10 cards that you can wish from. Why? Because you cannot go rummaging through your binders. THAT is the "10 card sideboard" people talk about.

Regarding The Locust God, it is ranked way too low on this and I feel you aren't using the best deck for it to see the potential. The deck i would use is at this link. Sorry I dont understand formatting on here to link easier.

@Soren841 , @Athraithe
Guys, it is not a real sideboard meant to be brought to FNM or tournaments as I never do this anyway... They are meta cards I have in a binder which I can change for different stores and different meta as described carefully in the primer before attending these places...
